Good day, lovely Hivers!
After our bonding experience in Medellin, we faced some struggles on our way home. It was a bit scary but also interesting. Passing onto another road to avoid complications was a must and slightly safer. However, the alternative route added an unexpected hour to our journey due to the unfamiliar terrain.
We had another long ride on our way back home, but in the middle of our trip, we spotted a checkpoint. I didn't take a picture of the cops because we were hiding in this area. Our driver immediately altered direction since we were overloaded. There were so many of us inside the vehicle, so we had to avoid it, especially since we were not too near where the cops were waiting.
Then, some people told our driver to take the path they suggested. However, it was also a bit confusing because there were many intersecting roads , and it was our first time to take that road. Fortunately, we managed to get back onto the main highway.
I thought everything was all right, until something unexpected happened. A tool in the vehicle suddenly flew out. I don't know exactly what it is called, but of course, it is essential to keep in the car. So, we stopped again, and some of our companions picked it up. It caused a slight delay, but eventually, it was put back. So, we continued on our way.
And there's more! You know that not all the roads leading to our place are cemented. There are so many rocks, and sometimes it is slippery especially when it rains. And since there were so many of us in the car and it was expected that it would struggle again when climbing a somewhat steep incline, some of us volunteered to get off first and only get back when the road was better.
But what's the funny twist? They continued riding and didn't wait for us, it was tiring too, you know, aww just kidding HAHA! But seriously, we were almost home anyway so we just walked it so we could get a little exercise, aha.
After facing those few struggles, we were glad that we already got home and took our rest. But oh my, I also had another task before I took a rest. It was washing our clothes that we used there. Like really? Couldn't it wait until the next day? Oh wait , maybe I'm just being dramatic, just kidding. It was just a few things and I finished them quickly. So after all, I happily lay in bed while thinking about those happenings we had encountered that day. However, beyond the struggles, we were still grateful and thankful.
Haha what a hilarious moment! 😅 Good you're all safe!
Thank you 😅.
OMG! What a fun yet scary experience. It’s nice that all of you get home safe. 💗
Still grateful despite of those happenings, hehe.
