Let me introduce you to one of the places in the northwestern Cebu that mostly catch the attention of many the "Coffee farm of Tuburan". which is situated at the mountainous area of Cabangkalan, Tuburan, Cebu.

Before reaching to this place, we have to travel the winding, steep road up to where this farm is located. If you're an adventurer seeking the thrill and solace amidst nature's wonders, this place is for you. The mountainous avenue offers an awe-inspiring experience that leaves an indelible mark on each traveler.

As we approached the vicinity the air filled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. We had offered a glass of coffee maybe to entice us to buy their products(lol). For those who love coffee this place is for you. Aside from the taste, it is much cheaper compared to the other commercial coffee sold in malls and market area.

This Coffee plantation does not only generate income, but it also gives potential job opportunities to the people living within the vicinity. As we stroll around, we saw some of the workers transferring these seedlings into a single pot. Some of which are ready for planting and others are for transporting to customers for orders. They also sell seedlings to walk-in tourists, 50.00php per seedling.

I spotted these structures around the corner and found out that this is the propagation area, they are using stem cutting technique to propagate coffee. Once the leaves started to grow, they transferred it to a nursery and rare it until it is fully grown.

After harvesting, the seeds are placed here for drying. Then, remove the yellowish layer of parchment from the bean. Actually, I have not seen it as they did the process, but this is just based on my interview with one of the coffee farms in charge.
