I have never heard of the Korean food and one of the delicacies they have is samgyeopsal the grilled pork belly but is not just another meal, it is an experience. It was a very active environment with no laughter around and the sizzling meat making it an enjoyable and warm place. It was a blend of traditional Korean and modern design, which predisposed this place as an excellent destination among the informal and those who wanted to experience the exotic dining process. The employees met us with a true smile as we immediately felt at home.
The menu was so wide, yet we went to have the samgyeopsal. We settled on the premium pork belly which would have a rich taste and soft texture. The waiter described the various dipping sauces and side meals which would be accompanied by our meal, called banchan. I was especially anticipating the ssamjang (a dense paste of spices), and the garlic which will be roasted with the meat.
When we sat down our food was given to us by our waiter and it was served on a grill. The sizzling pork belly was interesting to look at. The meat was now caramelising, and the wonderful smell was pouring out of it that made my stomach growl at the thought of it. The meat was also recommended to be grilled by ourselves hence making the meal enjoyable and interactive.
As I turned the bits of pork belly, I could not stop feeling proud of the fact that I was involved in the cooking process. The samgyeopsal is not only the most beautiful in terms of taste, but also in terms of solidarity. Samgyeopsal is not only beautiful in terms of taste but also in terms of solidarity. We ate the pork that we had grilled with fresh lettuce leaves along with slices of garlic and a spoonful of ssamjang. It was such a delight to wrap it and to first bite. The mixture of taste, smoky, spicy and savory, brought a delicious explosion in my mouth.
We also had a variety of banchan such as kimchi, pickled radish and spicy cucumber salad with the pork belly. . All the side dishes were served in combination with samgyeopsal. The kimchi was sour which was a good contrast to the richness of the pork and pickled radish provided a crispy bite that could not be ignored.
After taking two portions of grilling, we then resolved to take the cheese dip that was also in the menu.The point of visiting the samgyeopsal restaurant was not only a meal but also a party of flavors and culture. It was a full and happy meal followed by a full happy heart planning my next visit. I do recommend trying samgyeopsal though, and you will not regret it, it is an experience that you will always remember.

Such an amazing experience. I haven't tried na mag samgyup ka, hopefully I can finally do that too with my family. The style of samgyupsalan is really cool and fun. Ang saya lang na iihawin mo sa harapan mo yong meat with the other side dishes.
