Hey everyone!
Moooon here, and today I’m excited to share my experience with J.CO, a run that pushed my limits and inspired growth in ways I never imagined.

I began my running journey in college, back in 2017. My first run is a Milo marathon conducted by our school, and that time I was not in good shape, and running sucks for me, and I really hate it cause it's too damn exhausting.
I hate to admit it, but after my first heartbreak in college, I felt so broken and empty. Every time I don't have anything to do, sadness always pulls me down, which results in my depression and anxiety, so I decided to start moving up and do something that benefits me in the long run. I started waking up early every weekend, and instead of overthinking and questioning my worth, I ran and ran and ran until I got wasted, and it literally cleared my mind, and there's something inside of me wanting more, so I also started my fitness journey. I got myself a gym membership, tried a lot of physical activities; I do CrossFit, boxing, tabata, so much more.
As a reward, I received unbelievable endurance, stamina, and strength, and then I decided to join my first Spartan Race, and that was the first time I received a Spartan Finisher's medal.

So let's get back to the main topic of my blog. Last October 2025, I'm so happy to be part of the J.Co run, and this time I tried the 12 KM to push myself to my limit.
I only have 2hours to finish the 12K category. I studied the route, so I am aware where and when to change my turn.
I am 11 minutes late when the 12 km run because I got lost along the way, and I couldn't see where the exact place was. I'm so embarrassed, I started running with no warmups or stretching, hoping that I could still catch up with them.
The run takes place at MOA Complex, and that was a huge place to be honest, it's still dark along the way, and since I'm in the last spot, I have to catch up with the runners.
I feel relieved when I see runners walking and catching their breath. Now I can rest for a while and maintain my pace.
We already reached 10 KM at that moment, I stopped for a while to rest and take a shot of this iconic MOA Ferris wheel. I haven't seen it for almost 4 years. LOL, what a nostalgic moment.
Finally, 100M to go, there's no need to rush cause I still have a lot of time left, I'm gonna just enjoy the moment and stay focused.
The runners were amazed by these floating donuts, which looked like grooving, which was so cute! It suddenly removes my tiredness from running. Instant motivator XD

This is the moment when I received the finisher's medal, the best feeling ever. I'm so exhausted, but it vanished! I'm so proud of myself :)
(I used a GIF editor for this one called Veed)

Here's the finisher's rewards: A box of J.CO Donuts and some merchandise from the sponsors. This run is totally worth it!
12 KM Run pushed my limits, and I will prepare myself for my next run, and will aim for more higher category.
Thank you for reading. Let's catch up soon, everyone :)
