I mentioned in my previous blog about the hidden paradise that can be seen somewhere in Tabogon. One of the purposes of visiting the place is to help my friend ease the pain a lil bit that he has been feeling until now. Some beautiful spots in the area are worth sharing. They are good stress relievers, good for the heart, and the inner peace within is contemplating.
The Reason
Being brokenhearted is such a prolonged agony especially if you cannot recover immediately. There are cases in which you can ask, “What’s wrong with me? What’s with him that I don’t have? Am I not enough? Well, these are some of the questions that might perplex one's mind about who has been truly in love.
On one Saturday morning, I invited my close friend to stroll to a hidden paradise in Camoboan, Tabogon, Cebu to be relaxed and distressed. He is 22 years old, and a victim of love. I wanted him to be happy because he deserves it. I just wanted him to feel that sadness must not have even a single space in his heart and never let the mistaken love ruin his life.
From love to betrayal
This was his first time being truly in love. All the efforts, time, and money were exerted in the right way just to let her feel that she is special and loved so dearly. It worked, and then he was able to please the lady.
His love reaches beyond the clouds and is vast as an ocean. They had been dating, eating outside together, introducing her to his family, spending Christmas time with her family, and all the true happiness was felt inside of him. His days were full of joy and satisfaction because of her. He was indeed so inspired.
At first, their relationship was as clear as the ocean water despite all odds. They have different beliefs and religions but he was willing to convert to hers as a sign of his true love and commitment. He used to go with her to church every Sunday and everything was very smooth.
The girl's love for him is like weather that suddenly changed from being fine to gloomy and she faded. The trust was broken which led to betrayal. On February 14, we had seen the girl posted on her Facebook "My Day", she was so happy with her ex-boyfriend. Publicly, they had shown their two hands forming a heart which means that they were good again.
His love for her was true and when she opted to be with his ex-boyfriend he respected her decision.
He let her go if that what makes her happy even if it was heavy on his heart. Total freedom was granted to her as this will give her pure happiness.
The unwinding moment with nature
Without any hesitations, he traveled with me full of enthusiasm so he can explore the place too. Our discovery of the place delighted us both. We felt the cold wind frolicking over the bamboo trees. We were watching them bending back and forth.
A journey with beautiful nature can be a great factor to unwind. Together, we have witnessed the splendid beauty of nature that will surely help him realize that it is not his loss but hers. As we passed this amazing view, I’m so delighted to hear him talking about the place. I was thinking in this simple act of friendship, maybe I can ease a little bit about the pain he had been through.
As we moved on, the tranquil place was very inviting. I enjoyed doing some photography of nature’s best views. And by surprise, he was having fun taking some shots of me while I was taking photos of the area that we have visited. Such a funny thing.
The place that we have visited is surrounded by huge trees, and such an eco-friendly one. Aside from the chirping birds, we spotted these two lovely creatures that caught our attention and had a photo opportunity with them. It was a fulfilling moment when he asked me to take a shot with the monkey. I’m happy for him.
The acceptance
I’m hoping someday, God will provide him with the right woman who deserves his true love. It is not easy once a person is brokenhearted unless he/she is a seasoned one. My friend is still innocent when it comes to this thing and unluckily he has been betrayed. Maybe it is not the right time yet, maybe God has still another good plan for him.
I have been betrayed before however, I clung to this quote,

This is surely a perfect place to mend a broken heart. It maybe not completely erase the pain, but, it can help to ease it a litte. That is why, lots of people chose traveling to unwind, to think and to move on in different place. Because they know that it can help a lot.
