God answers silent prayers.
Last April 28, was an extraordinary day for me. It was a day that marked a new chapter, and a new environment to live in. I finally have one of the biggest achievements I could have in this entire life, I must say. This is something I really worked hard for - for a year. I invested all my earnings, time, effort, and brain cells (in planning where to get the finances). I have invested my everything here.
I am happy to share that I finally moved in to the house, MY NEW HOME!
FINALLY! (I can feel the confetti.🎉😂) I could not contain my excitement as days went by. My heart kept jumping up and down with so much eagerness, joy, and exuberance.
After the long wait, I already have something I can call my own, something I am safe and secure, something I could proudly acknowledge as one of my greatest blessings.
Days before April 28 came, we already transferred and arranged the things like beds, sofas, and other furniture, the kitchen stuff, and my personal things.
My parents and close relatives were with me, sleeping in the house for a couple of days, showing their utmost and unwavering support.
On the first day, we did a re-arranging of things, as to where they best fit, and what part of the house they should be placed on to serve better its purpose.
THE FURNITURE
The above furniture were personally made and crafted by my partner. Talented!🥰 These are made of Mahogany and Narra tree.
THE BACKYARD
After, we proceeded into cleaning the backyard, removed unnecessary things, and kept those that we can still use for future purposes.
THE VIEW
What I love about my place (sounds territorial? ahahahha) is its view. It offers me a refreshing and relaxing view of lush greens and scenery, right at my doorstep. I have all the access to the freshest air I could breathe. I could have it unlimited, for free.
The house is not yet fully finished. It still needs minor finishing touches.
And how about the sunrise?
It gives me a dazzling ray of hope every morning. It gives me the feeling of starting the day right, being effective and productive at work, and being at my best for everyone around me.
And who wouldn't love coffee in the morning having this view?
As I got drained from the whole day's work, I am still in great anticipation of getting back home because I know that I will be entertained by the view of the sunset, right on my house's terrace.
It made me realize that just like the sunset, not all endings are sad, dull, and painful. Just like this view, some endings are beautiful.
For a couple of weeks after moving in, I realized few things.
Nothing comes easy. It needs a lot of sacrifices to get what we want. We have to pour our whole hearts into it. We have to brave the unexpected problems and survived whatever comes our way.
Dreams do come true. Looking back, I was just dreaming of having my own house where I can be at my most comfortable and independent self. I never thought this day would come. But yeah, dreams with actions do come true.
God answers prayers. It is my routine to always say a prayer and talk to God as if He's in front of me, listening to all my complaints and the exciting stories I want to share. But tonight, on the first night of my moving in, it was different. Before I could finish saying the words "Thank you", my voice started to crack. I was, am, and will always be grateful for everything He has done for me. With unceasing prayer and hardwork, things will slowly fall into their perfect place. God listens. God answers.

Going back to the title, as the one who lives in a new home, does this mean having a new life too?
What's gonna happen next?
What am I looking forward to in life?
Is it still about enjoying life, being dominated by the idea of discovering more of oneself, or is this the right time to settle down?
Honestly, I still don't know. Yeah, I have plans but it is always God's way and will be done. Whatever it is, we will know together because for sure, I will gladly share all my small wins and carefully crafted decisions here.🤍
