Featuring the Street Dancing that happened last January 19, 2023. That's was during the town Fiesta which was celebrated annually in Bansud Oriental Mindoro. Enjoy watching!

January 23, 2023

January 19 is a special day for us, Bansudeño, because it is our Town Fiesta. A lot of activities were prepared, including street dancing. The schedule is at 1 p.m. It is sad that I wasn't able to watch their main dance in the Plaza de Bansud. which each group will dance in front of everyone, like the judge and audiences.

Yes, aside from the street dancing, they also have to present it in front of everyone. According to what I heard, a lot of people watched during that time. It is really sad that we were so busy during that time. We have some visitors too. That is why we let them eat inside the house. We prepared three dishes just for them.

And then, after the dance in Plaza de Bansud, comes the street dancing. Actually, a lot of people are already waiting for that.

including me, lol. Just look at the crowd. And actually, when the street dancing really took off, more people flooded the road. They are just patiently waiting for them to start. It is good that there are these men in uniform who manage the peace and order while the street dancing is happening.

If they are not here, for sure, it will be a mess. So it is also thanks to them that the street dancing was a success. There are nine participants who battled for street dancing, and they really gave their best just to show us and to entertain all the people. Even if it rains during the street dancing, the show must go on for them.

I mean, we have an umbrella ready for this, lol. See, it is raining, but here we are still watching. And the dancers—kudos to them for a job well done. It is just rain; they can't beat us with it, lol. And the rain didn't last long, so "Tuloy ang Ligaya!" Viva! Viva! Viva Sto. Niño de Bansud!

Anyways, after reading the result of the street dancing competition that day, I couldn't help but feel proud. Our school, which is the Pag-Asa National High School, won again. They are the ones performing in the video above. They are the champions again. As a student at the same school, I am really proud of them!

I think they are also the ones who won, two years before the pandemic. Even in our time, it is always them. I never go to those things, but I help prepare for their costumes. but that was during our time. I just can't help but have a walk down memory lane. When it comes to performing, the students in my former school will really give their best to get the best result.

Of course, that won't happen if not for the guidance of our teacher, who is all about providing support for their students. And, as I watch their video during their performance in front of the judges, I can say that they really perform at their best, giving it their all. And that paid off. They are the champions in the Street Dancing Competition 2023!

Some traditional belief holds that certain rituals or practices, such as dancing, singing, or offering sacrifices, can bring about rain. It means abundance and fertility.
It maybe Snr. Sto Nino de Bansud granted all what you wish for.
Keep safe and God bless.

Ang saya naman panoorin mga ganyan. Ganda pa ng outfits nila. It's good the rain didn't stop people from enjoying the event :)

Street dancing, so tiring for the participants but at the end it gave joy seeing people being entertained by their dances.
