Team Building is a process of making and creating a team to work together toward the same goal. This is a way of forming bonds and connections in one organization. Team building could increase communication skills, motivation, planning skills, and the collaboration of the employees in one team.
The most exciting part is the fun activities in which the team will be given a test of their planning skills and solve the given tasks. Games that could motivate everybody and this is the collaboration of ideas that would have good results if properly managed.
Where is Our Team Building held?
It was held at Bougainvillea Beach Park Daanbantayan Cebu. The place is so nice. It has a well-designed pool, wide space for a parking area, and a white sand beach.
Their blue-colored pool welcomes us and invited us to dip.
These were the elegant design that we'd seen on that beach
The Grotto can be seen on the left side of the beach. It has an attractive design and well-trimmed plants.
The Cottages were unique has a native and wood design. Very impressive when it comes to the materials used and it is very durable.
The big shark. In front of the cottages was this big shark that looks real and we were seduced to have a picture with that sharp teeth shark. We took pictures of each one of us as if we were about to be eaten and swallowed by the shark. Oh No!!!
We headed to the beach where we had our venue for the games.
Our pretty emcee was @jobeliever and the program started with a prayer led by @mommyjane. Stretching and warm-up were followed.
Before the activity, we were divided into four teams. The yellow, blue, green, and red teams. I belong to the red team. Go red team!😊
The presentation of the yell of each team was followed. The red team brought a hard copy of the lyrics to avoid mistakes in presenting the yell.
What were the fun games and activities?
Building of Tower
This game is using plastic drinking straws. The criteria are to build a strong and tall tower. Each team has its techniques on how to build a strong tower. I was then listening to our team, their ideas, opinions, and suggestions greatly helps.
There were ideas that we've tried but failed and the members of the team would innovate something that would help.
The secret thing that I obtained from this challenge is to build a strong foundation. The strong foundation that keeps the tower stands. This game has a connection to our life and as an employee of the school as well.
The strong foundation or the base itself should be firm so that it cannot be easily broken and ruined.
***The Biggest Ball Win ***
Our principal initiated this game. She brought four sets of plastic envelopes with bond papers and glue inside. Ma'am, are we still going to print modules here? We were jokingly asked her😊
The criteria for this game is to make the biggest ball out of the paper given. The strongest and biggest ball will be the winner.
This game still measures each team the motivation and determination to win. All teams were busy having their ideas on how to win the game.
The Hula hoops
The next game is the hula hoops. I know you are familiar with this game! The mechanics for this game is to put the hula hoop and then wiggle your body and pass it on to your teammates. The fastest team wins!
Red Team initiates and facilitates this game and we were exempted. We let the 3 teams participate.

Flour Relay
The mechanics of this game is to relay the flour by transferring it from one plate to another. The team who finished it first and still has plenty of flour left will be the winner.
I enjoyed this game! When it relays to others only a bit of flour will be transferred to the plate and most of it were wasted and thrown in the head and on our shirts. After the game, we were like zombies!!!
We enjoyed ourselves and had fun while watching everybody. Comparing ourselves to others and how we got those flours. We realized then and thought of some techniques to be successful in that game.
The technique was to transfer the flour to the team slowly but surely. Proper communication is very important in this challenge. While doing this the front member should communicate and tell to the next member of the team. How and what to do.
All the games in team building were connected to our daily tasks not only at work but in our daily activities in life as well.

It's Lunch Time
We took our lunch at the resto area of the beach. The foods were yummy and delicious. The reception area is spacious and has a good design. Tables and chairs were properly arranged.
Pool Time
After the fun activities, we headed to the pool. The pool has a clever design that seduces you to take a dip and enjoy the water.
The children and the adult pool were separated. I was amazed to see those clever designs. From the pool, the benches, the plants, and the flowers around. I never wasted any moment appreciating the beauty of Bougainvillea Beach Park especially since the weather was fine that day
It was an enjoyable and full of excitement day. I never forget the experience it brings. Everybody gets home enjoyed and happy.
