A beautiful day to all my fellow creative minds here in Hive! How are you all? It's been a while since I posted here. I apologize for being inactive lately; it is just that there are a lot of things that happened, and my class schedule is so packed. Schoolwork and tasks are everywhere, and I feel like it is an endless journey of challenges and struggles. That is why today I decided to pause and craft this blog. So I hope that you will enjoy reading this.
I have always carried this perspective that when the odds are in my favor, I will pack my things, go far, far away, and explore the world. I want to go beyond the horizons and run with unpredictable destinations. I craved for a life where birds and trees are alive. Where grasses are green and the flowers are blooming. I romanticize life as calm as the river flowing through the depth of the forest. My body is aching to explore the hidden gems of the world.
Today, I will be sharing with you the top three places in my travel bucket list. The places that have been seeping and echoing through the corners of my goals and dreams. The places that scream for escape.
Philippines
The first place on my travel bucket list is our very own country, the Philippines. Growing up, I discovered that the Philippines has so much to offer, but it is within us to explore those hidden treasures. Bukidnon, Baguio, Siargao, and Tagaytay are some of the places that I want to discover with my own eyes. I want to learn their culture, tradition, and values. I dreamed of tasting their salivating foods and cuisines. I yearned to have a walk with their nature. As a Filipino, I desire to unfold the richness of the Philippines when it comes to places, culture, and people.
Switzerland
Second on the list is Switzerland, a place where scenic landscapes are worth living for. This has been my dream destination if life would allow me in the future. I just love how the natural beauty of this country speaks for a calm, peaceful, and happy life. From the rivers, mountains, trees, flowers, and forest. Down to the chocolates, pastries, coffee, and fruits. Other than that, I feel like this place possesses a captivating essence where I can read books under the trees, bake cookies in an earth-like kitchen, and harvest fruits in a little garden. A life with nature, a life in Switzerland, is a life that feels like home.
Japan
Lastly is Japan. As an avid fan of anime, manga, and Japanese movies, I have been looking forward to visiting this country. I've been wishing to take a snap of their ethereal cherry blossoms, stunning fireworks display during festivals, and their different mouthwatering cuisine. I want to personally witness the places that I have seen in movies and to feel the nostalgia and moments. I romanticize riding a bike in the countryside, picking fruits in the forest, and just enjoying the peacefulness of the environment. Visiting this place would be a dream come true and a fulfillment of purpose. Thus, Japan is indeed a place of infinite memories and possibilities.
I still have a lot of places to visit and discover. I still have so much eagerness to partake in different adventures of life. I still have this growing passion to let life take me wherever and whenever it wants me to be.
Sometimes we think that we don't deserve to live a happy life, but deep within us we wish for a life that is constantly moving towards the better days of our existence. We longed for a life that would make us feel that we are actually living. This blog is a manifestation that may we have the life that is not just all about surviving, but living as well. We should always keep in our hearts and minds, that as long as we keep on trying, we will eventually get there.
