Finally, after a one-month hiatus from internet surfing, I’ve dived back into the virtual world. Oh, the things the Super Typhoon can do. It has indeed disrupted many from the day-to-day norms to focusing on actually surviving. But for those whose basic utilities are back, I congratulate you. What better way to return to how things were or improve life for the better than on a Chinese New Year.
We can all hope and pray that year 2022 will be better even with the Omicron Wave upon us. Its fast transmission has indeed made us all worry but because of how rapidly it’s spreading talks of the endgame have been rampant. We can all wish for this to be the case.
I can just imagine how the tourism industry is going to be when it does end. I can safely say that most of us if not all miss having fun traveling, eating out, and enjoying people’s company without dreading getting sick. Facebook keeps reminding me of all the travels I’ve previously done and how little I’ve had since the crisis. But just like my flashback beach photo below, the sun will rise again.
I’m sure we have had blessings received over the years and as we endure the various struggles, we can remind ourselves of these. To see beyond the horizon, of what is now and look forward to better days.
So, this year 2022, it still continues to be all about hope. The hope for a peaceful, COVID-less environment all over the world, a steady economic rise, and to enjoy more blessings. A Happy Chinese New Year again Hivers, to those Celebrating the Chinese New Year and the Chinese Community!
