Typhoon Odette or internationally known as Rai created a devastating impact on the people from the southern part of the Philippines.
Stories of our Hive friends from Cebu gave us an overview of what nightmares they experienced in the past days. From strong winds ravaging their homes pulling out their roofs, power outages and signal problems, water supply, and food shortage as well they need help this time more than ever.
From the ground, as we had the chance to get a hold of some of them earlier they shared that power isn't returned to its normal state and it may take up to a month before it will be back on especially if they are in a rural area.
As a community, we had decided to run a donation drive to the affected Hivers there and we need your support.
They are in need of water and food as of this time as the supplies are limited. However, we do not have the means to send those to them right now as logistics-wise some areas are still unavailable. Plus including the fact that they are not living near to each other delivering will be a problem. Thus we decided to just process an electronic transfer to either their Gcash/Paymaya account or send the funds directly to their Hive wallet, @indayclara offered some help too on reaching out to folks that need cash.
As of this time we are able to point out some of the folks that may need some help.

Donations given will be properly audited and accounted for transparency.

So sad, my brother is wirking in Lapu-lapu Cebu, mas mahirap a.g kalagayan nila compared sa pandemic at lindol noon 2013 sa Bohol
