Hello everyone! How are you today?
I have been eyeing to this platform since the day I heard about it. But I also got an excuse for not joining it right away. I know in myself that I will not be able to give a lot of time for it since I am also working as an online writer in another platform and as well as other earning sites, so as in my day-to-day routine at home. Honestly speaking, I kind of envy other writers who proudly share their progress or successful journey in this platform. I can't mention them all but they are actually my acquaintances both in real and virtual world. Speaking of which, ate/Mamsh @zbabe is my mentor and the reason why landed in this platform. Well, I met a lot of users too but she really helped me a lot to finally make myself an account here. She guided me every step of way until I reach the end to finally make my first blog post. And here I am today.
As per suggested, I should make an introductory post for you to know me a lot better. And without any further ado, welcome to my blog...
I am Volleyren20, 24 years old from Hilongos Leyte, Philippines. I am an only child with a loving and caring parents. I love to sing and dance. Actually, I have a Tiktok account and fortunately gained 7000+ followers. Not to brag tho.
I am also a Volleyball player, the reason why I came up with a user name "volleyren20" ("volley" from volleyball+"ren" from my real name+"20" the day that I said yes to my boyfriend)
I graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in MAPEH at Southern Leyte State University-College of Teacher Education last May 2019 and been able be pass the Licensure Examination for Teachers last September in the same year.
Unfortunately, for the second time that I joined the Teacher's Ranking, I didn't manage to be part of RQA or Registry of Qualified Applicants. I tried working as a JO or Job Order at our Municipal Office, specifically an Assistant Commission on Audit Officer, but ended up resigning due to some personal issues. I also tried a small business out of my salary from being a Job Order. I was once a load reseller in our place. Then, a friend of mine introduced to me an online platform that will pay me an amount for creating blogs or articles. At first, I was so hesitant because even though I was then a writer during my youthful days at school, I ended up focusing on my Volleyball career. But, I still ended up trying my best to be part of the community. When I got my first payment there, I was very happy. I jumped all over the place, even my mother can't believe it too. To cut the story short, it really payed off. Aside from that, I gained a lot of friends there and as well as learning a lot of things through reading and engaging with them through their writings. Now, I am a one year and soon to be five months in that platform.
Why I decided to join Hive?
To be honest, I am still unemployed right now. I am just at home, helping some household chores and my only means of income is through doing side hustles. I kept on looking an online platforms that can help me to earn money. I need money for my personal needs because I felt ashame to ask for it to my parents even though I am still living with them. You know, I am an adult now. I should be the one to sustain their needs and not the opposite. So, for more than a months of reading articles about Hive, I finally decided to join. Of course, its not just about the earnings, I am up for meeting new people and learn new things from them too.
What I look forward in this platform?
