I continue to share with you the exhibitions I visited at the Adana Orange Blossom Festival. Art is present in our lives in many different ways. For some a book is art, for others a painting is art. So what is art for you? Today we will take a look at an art exhibition.
Fulya Alışır bases her art on the concept of organic. The artistic products you are about to see are made of cotton. Cotton resembles a human being due to its processable, malleable, soft and organic structure.
I have never visited an exhibition like this before. Under most of the products in the exhibition, there are short messages about the artist's thoughts while making the product. What do you see in this work? I see a confusion, a search. The artist's message is "Let me meet my inner self... There is another me that says I am unaware, I am lost, I am in pain, I am tired and crying inside, even though we don't want to hear the voice of this me, we can hear it calling us from a distance, very, very close to us, like the light at the end of the cave, and this voice is the voice that calls us to search." Sometimes it can be very difficult to understand the messages of artists. They make very long and embellished sentences XD For example, I am very curious about what you understood from this message?
And what do you see in this photo? I see colorful flowers. They look very beautiful. I also see insects in the flowers. It would not be right to write all the texts here, so I will write what I understand from the artist's writings. The text questions whether people can accept all the differences of each other. After all, each person has a very different perspective on things, on themselves and on others, right?
Here I see a flower that hasn't bloomed yet. It looks like it needs sunlight and time to mature, just like people. People also mature as they grow up and get rid of the silly mistakes they made when they were young. The article mentions that some people can understand each other without talking. This is called connecting from the heart. Very true, sometimes you can get along with your best friend or lover without talking. You just need to look at each other.
This is another long article about people's "search". Let me summarize it for you. I already agree with the sentences here. The search always starts with a dissatisfaction and a flaw. As long as one is curious, one seeks and tries to find. This search does not always end well, sometimes it ends with unexpected bad things, but one never stops searching, nor should one. Because the most beautiful journeys begin with the search. Searching for something is even more beautiful than finding it. A very impressive article. Too bad there is no English version.
And this? It reminds me of the roots of a plant. The roots of a plant that grows underground to survive and will continue to grow. In his note, the artist talks about how long we can stand in the fast flow of time when we cannot control the existence and disappearance of our life force. It's true, time flies so fast and none of us can stop it.
These remind me of withered flowers. Imagine a rose, all the petals have withered away and only the bud remains. The artist says that philosophers always talk about the need to appreciate time, but people are not always that strong. At least this is what I understand.
There are other works here but it was too far away for me to read the text or take a photo. I regret not being able to take a photo of that writing somehow, you cannot understand. I see a leader in this photograph, a leader who has gained consciousness before the others and is waiting for those around to wake up. What do you see?
I see a woman in this piece. Women are always searching, aren't they? They search for happiness, they search for the right person, they search for goodness. As a note under this work, the artist mentioned that the search adds wisdom to human beings.
This work reminds me of growth and development. Just like a plant growing and developing in the soil. If it shows the necessary development, it can grow a lot, but if it doesn't grow enough, it withers and dies. The artist said that the most beautiful journeys begin with the search. I think so too, it's a really good feeling to search for something.

Fulya Alışır sanatını organik kavramı üzerine kuruyor. Birazdan göreceğiniz sanatsal ürünler pamuktan yapılmış. Pamuk, işlenebilir, şekillendirilebilir, yumuşak ve organik yapısı sebebiyle insana benzemektedir.
Daha önce hiç buna benzer bir sergi gezmemiştim. Sergideki çoğu ürünün altında o ürünü yaparken sanatçının neler düşündüğüne ve esere dair kısa mesajlar yazıyor. Bu eserde ne görüyorsunuz? Ben bir karmaşa, bir arayış görüyorum. Sanatçının mesajı "İçimdeki benlerle bırak tanışayım... Habersizim, kaybolmuşum, acı çekiyorum, yoruldum diyen ve için için ağlayan bir ben daha var, her ne kadar bu benin sesini duymak istemesek de uzaktan, sanki mağaranın sonundaki ışık gibi bize seslendiğini çok çok yakınımızdan duyabiliriz ve bu ses bizi arayışa çağıran sestir." Bazen sanatçıların mesajlarını anlamak çok zor olabiliyor. Çok uzun ve süslenmiş cümleler kuruyorlar XD Örneğin siz bu mesajdan ne anladınız ben çok merak ediyorum.
Peki bu fotoğrafta ne görüyorsunuz? Ben rengarenk çiçekler görüyorum. Çok güzel görünüyorlar. Aynı zamanda çiçeklerin içinde böcekler de görüyorum. Bütün yazıları buraya olduğu gibi yazmam doğru olmaz bu yüzden sanatçının yazılarından ne anladığımı yazacağım. Yazıda insanların birbirinin bütün farklılıklarını kabul edip edemeyeceği sorgulanıyor. Her insanın olaylara, kendine ve karşısındakine bakış açısı çok farklı sonuçta değil mi?
Burada henüz açmamış bir çiçek görüyorum. Sanki olgunlaşması için güneş ışığına ve zamana ihtiyacı var gibi görünüyor, tıpkı insanlar gibi. İnsanlar da büyüdükçe olgunlaşır ve gençken yaptığı o saçma hatalardan arınır. Yazıda bazı insanların birbirini konuşmadan da anlayabildiğinden bahsediyor. Buna da kalpten bağ kurmak deniyormuş. Çok doğru, bazen en yakın arkadaşınızla veya sevgilinizle konuşmadan da anlaşabilirsiniz. Birbirinize bakmanız yeterlidir.
Bu da insanların "arayışlarıyla" ilgili uzun bir yazı. Size özetlememe izin verin. Buradaki cümlelere zaten katılıyorum. Arayış her zaman bir memnuniyetsizlikle ve kusurla başlar. İnsan merak ettikçe arar ve bulmaya çalışır. Bu arayış her zaman güzel sonuçlanmaz, bazen hiç beklenmeyen kötü şeylerle biter ancak insan asla aramaktan vazgeçmez, vazgeçmemeli de. Çünkü en güzel yolculuklar da arayışla başlar. Bir şeyleri aramak bulmaktan da güzeldir. Oldukça etkileyici bir yazı. İngilizce versiyonunun olmaması çok kötü.
Peki bu? Bir bitkinin köklerini anımsattı bana. Hayatta kalmak için yerin altında büyüyen ve büyümeye devam edecek bir bitkinin kökleri. Sanatçı ise notunda yaşam gücümüzün var ve yok olmasını kontrol edemiyorken bu zamanın hızlı akışında ne kadar uzun süre durabileceğimizden bahsediyor. Bu doğru, zaman çok hızlı akıp geçiyor ve hiçbirimiz onu durduramıyoruz.
Bunlar bana solmuş çiçekleri anımsatıyor. Bir gül düşünün, bütün yaprakları zamanla kopmuş geriye sadece tomurcuğu kalmış. Sanatçı ise felsefecilerin sürekli zamanın kıymetini bilmemiz gerektiğinden bahsettiğini ancak insanın her zaman bu kadar güçlü olamadığından bahsediyor. En azından benim anladığım şey bu.
Burada başka eserler de var ancak yazıları okuyamayacağım ya da fotoğrafını çekemeyeceğim kadar uzaktı. Şu an bir şekilde o yazının fotoğrafını çekemediğim için o kadar pişmanım ki anlayamazsınız. Ben bu fotoğrafta bir lider görüyorum. Diğerlerinden önce bilinç kazanmış ve etrafındakilerin de uyanmasını bekleyen bir lider. Siz ne görüyorsunuz?
Bu eserde bir kadın görüyorum. Kadınlar da her zaman arayış içindedirler değil mi? Mutluluğu ararlar, doğru insanı ararlar, iyiliği ararlar. Sanatçı bu eserin altına not olarak arayışın insana bilgelik kattığından bahsetmiş.
Bu eser bana büyümeyi ve gelişmeyi anımsatıyor. Tıpkı bir bitkinin toprakta büyüyüp gelişmesi gibi. Eğer gerekli gelişmeyi gösterirse çok büyüyebilir ama yeterince büyüyemezse solar ve kurur. Sanatçı en güzel yolculukların arayışla başladığını söylemiş. Ben de böyle düşünüyorum. Bir şeyleri aramak gerçekten güzel bir his.

You definitely can't visit content on Hive on an empty stomach 🤣 Yesterday I had the afternoon free and I thought about connecting to your program, but I overflowed the washing machine and it took me about an hour to dry the house 😵💫
