Greetings, I hope you are all well and everything is fine. Today is an important day for the Turkish Power Up day because I was supposed to announce the new event today, but instead I decided to pause the event. For those of you who don't want to read too long, I can tell you that I made this decision because of the number of participants in the last events and the lack of interest in the Power Up day.

The first time we organized this event was in October 2022 and we've managed to keep it going for the most part since then. I checked the posts and attendance numbers back then and the first 3 events had 17, 20 and 19 people respectively. That's a pretty good number because that was already about the number of Turkish users active on Hive at that time. Unfortunately, the interest in both Hive and the event decreased over time. This is due to the bear season in crypto, which affected the price of Hive badly, the big earthquake in our country and some other events that took place in our community afterwards. Therefore, the number of people who I can say are fully active in Hive at the moment can be counted on the fingers of one hand. You will never see 5 posts in a day in the Turkish community. The participation in the event is decreasing day by day, only 2 people participated in the last event and that made me think that it's time to change something.

Actually, I tried very hard to continue, I always had an excuse. “It's the summer season, people are on vacation and when the summer is over they will start participating in the event. Right now the prices are very low and when they rise they will come back and participate in this event.” I always tried to motivate myself with this kind of rhetoric and I wanted to continue this event because it shows how much the community is present in Hive. This event represents our community. If there were 5-10 people who participated regularly every month, I would never end this event. Or if people who post regularly also participated in this event, I would still continue. But since I can't see any of that at this point, I'm ending this event. As I wrote on our Discord server, “there is no point in continuing an event with only 2 people participating”

I would like to thank everyone who contributed and participated in this event. It is not possible to mention everyone here, but I would especially like to thank Emrebeyler, @damla and @zekepickleman.

But who knows? Maybe in the years to come Hive Turkey will revive and I will continue this event again to motivate people. Until then, take care and have a great day my friends.

Bugün Türk Power Up günü için önemli bir gün aslında çünkü bugün yeni etkinliğin duyurusunu yapmam gerekiyordu ama bunun yerine etkinliği duraklatma kararı aldım. Uzun uzun okumak istemeyenler için, son etkinliklere olan katılım sayısından ve Power Up gününe olan ilgisizlikten dolayı bu kararı aldığımı söyleyebilirim.

Bu etkinliği ilk organize ettiğimizde 2022 yılının Ekim ayıydı ve ondan sonra da çoğunlukla bunu sürdürmeyi başardık. O zamanlar paylaşılan gönderilere ve katılım sayısını bir kontrol ettim. Ve ilk 3 etkinliğe sırasıyla 17, 20 ve 19 kişi katılmış. Bu oldukça güzel sayılar çünkü zaten o dönem Hive'da aktif olan Türk kullanıcı sayısı yaklaşık bu kadardı. Zamanla hem Hive'a olan hem de etkinliğe olan ilgi maalesef azaldı. Bunda, kriptodaki ayı sezonunun Hive fiyatını kötü etkilemesi, ülkemizde gerçekleşen büyük deprem ve daha sonra topluluğumuzda gerçekleşen bazı başka olayların etkisi var. Dolayısıyla şu anda Hive'da tam anlamıyla aktif diyebileceğim kişi sayısı bir elin parmaklarını geçmiyor. Türk topluluğunda bir günde 5 gönderiyi asla göremezsiniz. Etkinliğe olan katılım ise her geçen gün daha da azalıyor, son etkinliğe sadece 2 kişi katıldı ve bu da bana bir şeyleri değiştirme zamanının geldiğini düşündürdü.

Aslında devam etmek için çok çabaladım, hep bir bahanem vardı. "Şu anda yaz sezonundayız insanlar tatilde yaz bitince etkinliğe katılmaya başlayacaklar. Şu anda fiyatlar çok düştü yükselince geri dönecekler ve bu etkinliğe katılacaklar." Hep bu tarz söylemlerle kendimi motive etmeye çalıştım ve bu etkinliği sürdürmek istedim çünkü bu bir nevi topluluğun Hive'da ne kadar var olduğunu da gösteriyor. Bu etkinlik topluluğumuzu temsil ediyor. Eğer her ay düzenli katılan 5-10 kişi olsaydı bu etkinliği asla bitirmezdim. Ya da düzenli olarak gönderi paylaşan insanlar bu etkinliğe de katılsa yine sürdürürdüm. Ama geldiğimiz noktada bunların hiçbirini göremediğim için bu etkinliği sonlandırıyorum. Discord sunucumuzda da yazdığım gibi, "sadece 2 kişinin katıldığı bir etkinliği sürdürmenin bir manası yok"

Ama kim bilir? Geleceğin ne getireceğini kimse bilemez değil mi? Belki ilerleyen yıllarda Hive Türkiye tekrar canlanır ve ben insanları motive etmek için tekrar bu etkinliği sürdürürüm. O zamana kadar kendinize iyi bakın ve harika bir gün geçirin dostlarım.
