Bu etkinlik için sabah markete bisikletle gitmeye karar verdim. Yolda da bol bol durup fotoğraf çekerim diyordum. Arkadaşlarla Discord'da muhabbet ederken evlerden birinde Filistin bayrağı gördüm. Bayrağı görmemin şaşkınlığıyla eve doğru bakarken döneceğim yolun geldiğini farkettim ve sola dönüş için ufak bir hamle yaptım.
For this event, I decided to go to the market by bike in the morning. I planned to stop often and take lots of photos along the way. While chatting with friends on Discord, I saw a Palestinian flag at one of the houses. Shocked by seeing the flag, I realized I had reached my turning point as I looked towards the house, and made a slight move to turn left.
The distinction between the bike path and the roadway enhances safety. I would prefer parking spaces to be located to the left of the bike path, but this arrangement is still an improvement over none at all.

At that moment, I came face to face with a pothole in the middle of my path. As we stared at each other for a long time, many thoughts began to cross my mind. Could I have stopped if I had braked? Could I have avoided the pothole if I had turned my steering wheel? As I was pondering whether to continue, I found myself inside that large pothole.

The front tire entered the pothole harshly, and my tire burst. I had managed to save the rear wheel from entering the pothole, but a clear popping sound was coming from the front wheel. Being at the market on the way back was somewhat good; at least I was able to do my shopping, but it was a bit difficult to carry the bike and take photos at the same time. After about a 30-minute walk, I reached home.

Honestly, I consider myself lucky for not falling. Let this be my evil eye charm. As soon as I got home, I ordered a new tire and am thinking of changing it tomorrow. Oh, and I also saw a water sculpture on the way. It at least led to a nice experience. I wouldn't have noticed it if I had been cycling.
