MANCHESTER CITY vs. TOTTENHAM
MANCHESTER CITY vuelve a jugar en su estadio por tercera vez consecutiva. Luego de empatar con el Liverpool y de remontar un partido ante su rival alemán, vuelve a abrir las puertas del Etihad Stadium para enfrentarse a los spurs. Ha sido el segundo empate consecutivo que han conseguido los ciudadanos en la Premier League, y eso ha ocasionado que vuelvan a perder el liderato y darle paso al Arsenal. Aún así mantienen el liderato en algunos departamentos claves, tales como goles anotados y disparos a puerta. En ambos renglones son primeros justificando su lugar en la tabla y candidatura a renovar el título. Ya empiezan a conocerse los posibles plazos que llevará a la culminación de el juicio que se le ejecuta al club por el manejo de sus finanzas en años anteriores. Su entrenador, en total conocimiento de que está situación no debería afectar el rendimiento en el terreno de juego , se ha dedicado en las últimas ruedas de prensa a alabar al entrenador rival destacado su originalidad y manejo tanto de selecciones nacionales como de clubes de liga en el pasado y el presente . Nadie puede negar que no está haciendo su trabajo al quitarle presión a los jugadores y tratando de cambiar el foco de las conversaciones ante los micrófonos.
TOTTENHAM perdió en casa por segunda vez consecutiva y la tercera en fila del campeonato. Ya habían caído ante el Chelsea, wolverhampton, y ahora ante el Aston Villa. A pesar de su sólido arranque la realidad de las espuelas ahora es otra, cayendo al quinto puesto de la clasificación y saliendo de la zona de Champions. Y pensar que antes de esa racha negativa habían estado en el primer lugar durante tres fechas. Tal vez tenga algo que ver las bajas por salud que tiene el equipo desde hace varias semanas. Nombres como Romero, Van de Ven, Perisic, Maddison, Richarlison y Bentancur se extrañan en el engramado. Llama la atención que las últimas actuaciones que han llamado más la atención son las de su portero Vicario, quién ha hecho salvadas enormes y demostrado buen criterio al salir del área chica decidir si elevarse o no a buscar una pelota aérea y reflejos como los de un gato. Gracias a él los daños no han sido mayores. Y ahora tendrá un difícil examen ante uno de los mejores delanteros del mundo.
Los últimos partidos en el ética stadium han sido muy trepidantes. Hace dos temporadas se marcaron dos goles en el tiempo de descuento, siendo el primero de ellos a favor del Manchester City que igualaba el partido momentáneamente gracias a un penal marcado. Sin embargo unos minutos después llegó el gol de cabeza de Harry Kane, quien volvía a darle la ventaja al visitante quedando el marcador finalmente 2 - 3. Y en la temporada pasada los locales remontaron un marcador adverso de 0 - 2 en el entretiempo para terminarlo 4 - 2. Este es el partido más atractivo de la jornada y tal vez de Europa completa.
NEWCASTLE vs. MANCHESTER UNITED
NEWCASTLE remontó su último partido ante el Chelsea, venciéndolo 4-1 en casa. Ahora, vuelve a abrir las puertas del St James Park a una nueva jornada, buscando su tercera victoria en fila que mejore su posición en la tabla, ya que ha caído al séptimo lugar. Para ellos deberá mantener su buena producción de goles, que por cierto los ubica como el segundo equipo más goleador, con 31 goles, al igual que el Aston Villa y por detrás sólo del Manchester City. La tarea no será fácil, ya que mantiene bajas importantes desde el medio hacia atrás, con asusencias como las de Wilson, Willock, Barnes, Botman, Burn, Longstaff y Tonali. Pero algo sí es seguro, que ante estas situaciones, Eddie Howe a mostrado resiliencia, y se ha adaptado, sabiendo hacer los cambios de nombres, tanto como titulares como en medio de los partidos. Esa es la ventaja de éste entrenador jóven que se involucra en la plantilla y también tiene elementos jóvenes que son moldeables y se sujetan a la autoridad del entrenador.
MANCHESTER UNITED viene de ganar ante el Everton 0-3, y de pensar en un milagro que los mantenga en competición continental. La victoria en Merseyside es la tercera en fila, y quieren llegar a Newcastle a amarrar la cuarta victoria. La principal bandera que tienen en ésta ocasión es el recuperado Rashford. El inglés no está en la mejor forma ni anotando los goles que muchos esperarían, pero sigue siendo un elemento peligroso para la defensa rival. De igual forma, tienen bajas considerables para éste fin de semana, tales como Mount, Lisandro Martínez, Casemiro, Eriksen, entre otros. Los diablos rojos se ubican en el sexto lugar de la clasificación, empezando ese bloque que empieza a separarse con los que tendrán más oportunidad de alzar la copa ésta temporada. No parece sencillo terminar de encarrilar a éste equipo quien está jugando a "todo o nada", puesto que aún no ha empatado luego de 13 compromisos (es el único que puede decir eso hasta ahora). Por cierto, ¿cuánta paciencia le tendrá la afición a Onana?

EL JUGADOR
RAHEEM STERLINGes uno de los que más minutos ha tenido bajo el mando del argentino Mauricio. En los últimos tres partidos ha anotado en par de ocasiones y asistido a un compañero. A mi juicio, el inglés toma con frecuencia decisiones equivocadas en el último cuarto de cancha, por lo que me sorprende su continuidad. Sin embargo, los números le favorecen para seguir en juego, y es un factor de experiencia ante una muy jóven plantilla.
Por cierto, dos de los equipos en la zona de descenso se enfrentarán entre sí, y siempre esos partidos son intensos por la paridad deportiva y las ganas de salir de la zona roja. Tenemos mucho por ver en éste fin de semana. ¡Disfrutemos el fútbol!

Es un buen mes para ponerse al día. Es el mes que hay más partidos, generalmente. La semana que viene hay dos jornadas. A veces, éste mes se ganan y pierden los campeonatos. Saludos @fermionico y muy agradecido por el apoyo. Un abrazo
