Recibo una invitación para visitar la cueva del zamuro y la huella de un dinosaurio en una roca del cerro de Santa Inés, en el sector del barrio San Luis de la ciudad de Caicara del Orinoco. Reviso mi plan de trabajo de la semana. Olfateo la situación geográfica local y el grupo de personas que están convocando para entender la importancia del evento. Tomo mi decisión de asistir el viernes a las siete de la mañana. Debo llegar al lugar de la recepción en la plaza del estudiante, para trasladarme desde allí a buscar al guía Ronald Duarte, quien va a conducir al grupo en esta excursión de la cueva del zamuro.
Greetings, dear community member @fulldeportes, it is nice to show you what a good adventure it is to explore the green vegetation of Caicara del Orinoco in the state of Bolivar. This is a pleasant surprise that I enjoy in my adventurous spirit.
I receive an invitation to visit the cave of the Zamuro and the footprint of a dinosaur on a rock on the hill of Santa Inés, in the sector of the San Luis neighborhood in the city of Caicara del Orinoco. I review my work plan for the week. I sniff out the local geographic situation and the group of people who are convening to understand the importance of the event. I make my decision to attend at seven o'clock on Friday morning. I have to get to the reception place in the student's square, to move from there to pick up the guide Ronald Duarte, who is going to lead the group on this excursion to the Cueva del Zamuro.
Camino con el grupo hasta la escuela Simón Bolívar del barrio San Luis. Me quedo en la retaguardia del grupo esperando que se inicie el recorrido desde la parte trasera de la escuela por el monte del cerro, inicia la inmersión en el verde vegetal, la vegetación es ligeramente cerrada para transitar por el camino forrado de hojas verdes. Voy con mis ojos bien abiertos, algunos compañeros son débiles de las extremidades para transitar, el ambiente vegetal es fresco. El grupo bajo y subió una empinada ladera de una quebrada que está seca. Terminamos de subir la alta orilla cuando se escucha:
— ¡Alto, una culebra! Grita, el guía Ronald. Algunos altivos y arrogantes excursionistas están agarrándose las piernas, porque el temblor es fuerte en sus extremidades. Paso hacia adelante para verificar que acontece.
I walk with the group to the Simón Bolívar school in the San Luis neighborhood. I stay at the rear of the group waiting for the tour to start from the back of the school through the hillside, the immersion in the green vegetation begins, the vegetation is slightly closed to walk along the path lined with green leaves. I go with my eyes wide open, some of my companions are too weak in their limbs to walk, the vegetation is fresh. The group descends and climbs a steep slope of a dry creek. We finish climbing the high bank when we hear:
Stop, a snake! shouts the guide, Ronald. Some haughty and arrogant hikers are clutching their legs, because the trembling is strong in their limbs. I step forward to check what is happening.

—Sí, vamos a continuar, no pisen las hojas secas, ni se agarren de las ramas porque pueden conseguir culebras debajo de las hojas, algunas se camuflan, se parecen a las pequeñas ramas de los arbustos.

We continue to climb the rocks until we reach the top. I am enjoying the cool breeze coming from the east. The perspective of the Orinoco River is magnificent, the width of the meander and the silted beaches do not allow us to appreciate the magnitude of the river's width from this point; 7°37' 07.9 ''N 66° 10' 22.6''W. The Orinoco comes from the west with a stony patience, this landscape is blooming like the araguaney flowers that shelter me from the sun, the space has an incessant movement of clouds that blur as they meet the river.

Llego a la mencionada huella del dinosaurio; tiene formas en la roca Precámbrica que el guía Ronald sostiene que es la huella de un dinosaurio.
Logramos realizar un breve campamento para merendar y comentar el evento que estoy disfrutando. Comento que esta región estuvo bañado por el mar geosinclinal, que en su desplazamiento duraron millones de años para que discurrieran esas aguas y quedaran los hermosos relieves geográficos que disfrutamos actualmente. Del otro lado de nuestra región del estado Bolívar se encuentra el estado Guárico.

I ask them who were students of Professor Lucas Corvo, an excellent teacher of Geography and Earth Sciences in high school at the Liceo Manuel Cedeño. Considero que se puede elaborar un proyecto de senderismo local. Tiene el cerro Santa Inés una extraordinaria condición y situación local, su flora y fauna. Esta riqueza patrimonial paisajística de orquídeas, bambú enano, anisillo, cruceto, araguaneyes, guarataros, jobos, mantecos, arboles de gran calidad maderera, aves, turpiales, colibríes, zamuros, gavilanes, zorros y cunaguaros.
I believe that a local hiking project can be drawn up. Cerro Santa Inés has an extraordinary local condition and situation, its flora and fauna. This rich landscape heritage of orchids, dwarf bamboo, anisillo, cruceto, araguaneyes, guarataros, jobos, mantecos, trees of great timber quality, birds, turpiales, hummingbirds, zamuros, sparrow hawks, foxes and cunaguaros.

En este lugar está un espectáculo visual. Una maravilla de Caicara del Orinoco en el estado Bolívar

So, we went down to the courtyard of the Simón Bolívar school in the San Luis neighborhood, we were greeted with great expectation for the event of the excursion, to open paths for the enjoyment of the spirit, for the recreation of the educational community that is there near the Santa Inés hill. El senderismo es una actividad que me llama bastante la atención, ya que aparte de caminar, conocemos paisajes muy hermosos como los que muestra en las fotografías que acompaña su publicación, me gustaron mucho.
Mi mamá nació cerca de Caicara del Orinoco, pero nunca he tenido la oportunidad de visitar esos lados, así que ojalá lo pueda hacer algún día y conocer estos sitios tan hermosos que nos compartes hoy.
