Otro deporte poco mencionado en nuestra comunidad, seguramente porque no es un juego con aceptación masiva y por lo tanto no tiene la difusión de otros que son o se convierten en populares por las noticias y los partidos que son trasmitidos por las grandes cadenas deportivas mundiales.
Sin embargo, este deporte veloz y preciso ofrenda a sus seguidores grandes espectáculos y en ese sentido es similar al hockey sobre hielo; también está emparentado al que se disputa sobre césped y que es mucho más conocido y practicado en un buen número de países del mundo, esta versión sobre césped, donde no se utilizan elementos adicionales de traslado, cuenta con el beneplácito de ser un deporte incluido en las olimpíadas mientras que el que se juega sobre patines con ruedas solo participó una vez y como demostración.
El deporte comenzó como tal en el año 1924 cuando se juntaron Inglaterra, Francia, Alemania y Suiza y organizaron el primer torneo al que se incorporaron con posterioridad Italia y Bélgica. El deporte creció y se organizaron diferentes torneos, así como campeonatos mundiales que han dominado los seleccionados de la península Ibérica: España con 17 títulos y Portugal con 16, el tercero sorpresivamente es Argentina con 6 títulos y es el campeón vigente habiendo ganado el último disputado en el 2022 en la provincia de San Juan, aquí en mi país. Justamente esa provincia es el lugar de la Argentina donde más se practica este deporte y la zona que mayor cantidad de jugadores de gran nivel aporta a la selección nacional junto con el resto de la región cuyana, Mendoza principalmente. Estas provincias además de buen vino producen grandes jugadores de hockey sobre patines y patinadores en general.
Hace pocos días se disputó en Suiza la copa de Naciones, uno de los principales eventos del hockey sobre patines, Argentina se consagró campeón al ganar su grupo venciendo a Angola, Italia y Montreux, un combinado local que reemplazó a la selección del país organizador, en la semifinal derrotó a Francia y en la final a Portugal. El próximo evento de nivel internacional es el World Skate Games, que se desarrollará en Novara, Italia.
También ha crecido mucho el hockey sobre patines femenino que cuenta con su campeonato mundial desde 1992 y se juega cada dos años, el medallero también es dominado por España con 7 títulos seguido por Argentina con 6, luego hay varios equipos con 1 título y aquí, a diferencia del circuito masculino, Portugal no tiene ningún torneo mundial en su haber.

Nunca habido hablar sobre este disciplina deportiva, es impresionante lo variado que puede ser el deporte, tenemos mucho entrenamiento, lo importante es que nos entretenga y nos gusta lo que estamos viendo. Interesante conocer sobre el Hockey sobre ruedas.

Me alegra el haber aportado en el feed con un deporte poco conocido en muchas partes del mundo.
Se juega sobre una cancha de menores dimensiones a las del hockey sobre hielo, pero es igual de vertiginoso y arriesgado, aunque sin esas peleas ridículas.
Muy lindo, no es un deporte que se vea con regularidad en TV, ni siquiera aquí donde hay un excelente nivel de juego, pero las pocas veces que tenemos imágenes trato de verlo y disfrutar.

Reconozco que conocía la modalidad de Hockey sobre hielo y césped, pero, al igual que mi estimado @franz54 en esta soy desconocedor por completo.
Es interesante ver cómo hay países como Canadá que es potencia en el Hockey sobre hielo o Pakistán y la India en el Césped que no tienen ningún título en este tipo de deporte.
Bien por Argentina que es una potencia en el Hockey sobre Césped y, en este que usted nos presenta también es una potencia destacada.
