Sí, Borges ejecutó algunos tiros que requirieron precisión y en su mayoría los acertó, como por ejemplo un drop shot para cambiar el ritmo y aprovechar que su rival estaba "como siempre" bien cargado atrás.
Fue un partido interesante que se inclinó por la experiencia y tenacidad del ruso.

Ya estamos en las rondas definitorias del Abierto y ya estado muy bien el torneo, sorpresas, grandes puntos y mejor programación de los partidos. Novak avanzando fresco, Jannik demostrando su potencial y Daniil llegando de nuevo a la etapa donde solo los mejores hacen presencia.
Sin embargo, Daniil estuvo en este partido un escalón debajo de su habitual dominio,así que tiene la tarea pendiente de mejorar, sobre todo contra un Hurkacz inspirado y que siempre sobresale en las pistas rápidas.
