My first meetup and what I learnt

in Loving HIVE ❤8 days ago

Monday was one of the those days i feel energized, eagered and strong to do my daily routine, the weather was bright, the sky blue so lovely and beautiful to behold.

So i started with the day with my quiet time to myself, then i had some exerciseto keep fit. After that i had my shower, ate my delicious breakfast and dressed up and prepared going for the hive meeting. My drive there to the location wasn't stressful, there i had a warmly greeting with my members, we chatted and laughed and got straight to our agenda for the day.

@beauty197 took the stage by welcoming everyone and congratulate us on our consistency, efforts and success so far on ecency leaderboard. She reminded us that every content, comment on posts and engagement counts. Her words were inspiring, i felt the spirit of motivation to do more and more.

From there she taught us how to use tags effectively on different communities, she further more taught on how to participate on weekly contests on communities and how to engage on other people's contest. It was amazing, i realized that there are so much to learn, explore and engage which i am motivated and inspre to engage by learning and growing on hive effectively.

@beauty197 walked us through on how to download Discord on playstore, explaining how it can help us engage on weekly contest on different communities, to stay connected and communicate more effectively.

Additional she showed us on how to swap Hive and power up using keychain app.
So i went to my keychain, opened it and input my password, then clicked on the up and down arrow by my right below the keychain app. I then proceeded in swapping my hbd to hive by input the figure i want to swap, i swapped it and then confirm.

Then this is how I powered up
I clicked on power up, i powered up and and clicked on confirm

It was super helpful and i felt more confident about doing it myself and managing my wallet on keychain.

As we rounded up the meeting we enjoyed ourselves by having some refreshment. I was a lovely atmosphere and i felt grateful to be part of the meeting. It was was a successful one. Kudos to @beautu197 and @ozibaby i appreciate your efforts by sharing your expertise. Thanks

As we came to the close of the meeting, I knew I will be going home late. The sun had already set, and the night dawn. I bid farewell to my fellow members and begin my journey home, feeling exhausted, tired, and hungry. The day's meeting had taken a lot out of me, but I knew I had to push on.

On my way home, I decided to pick up a few essentials from the market. I bought some disk rack, cutting board for veggies and some food stuffs needed for dinner. The market was still busy with activity, and I was happy for the opportunity to restock.

When I finally got home, I got straight to cooking, i dig in for my dinner. After dinner, I handled the house chores – washing dishes, tidying up, and getting everything in order. It was a stressful but I felt a sense of satisfaction as I looked around my cleaned space.

As the night drew to a close, I retreated to my bed, feeling spent but content. Despite the stress and fatigue, I'm grateful for the meeting and the connections I made. It was a day I'll always treasure, and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

As I drifted off to sleep, I smiled, knowing that tomorrow would bring new opportunities and challenges. The Hive community had given me so much, and I was eager to give back and keep growing.

Your welcome

In hive, we treat ourselves as one big and happy family, seeing how they have initiated your growth and eagerly wants you to really grow, just maintain the tempo.

Yes that's a great work

Follow suit, when it's in your turn to help another person, just do and do it freely.

Nice one. But it's the refreshments for me

Yes it's for you

If you are persistent, you will get it, if are consistent, you will have it and if you are grateful, you will attract more of it.

You really learned a whole lot, that is very good, I love the fact that you paid much attention during the meetup and your consistency is always appreciated.
