Today was an intense day of work at "Hive goes to School". We did four sections of 30 students each. A total of 120 students got to know Hive and Web3.
This is the second time we went to Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario, because we were called again to attend the fourth graders.
I was able to observe kids who were very alert and very up to date with technology. They have all heard about artificial intelligence and many have used ChatGPT. As for the term "web3" none have heard of it, as well as "blockchain technology". However bitcoin has been heard by over 90% of the attendees. A few even said they had owned bitcoin at some point.
The main theme was based on the ownership of our data and the importance of that. Also about the most in-demand professions in Web3, but debating of which ones will be faster replaced by AI.
Now I always ask who is going to study languages, as human translators are going to disappear very soon. In every class there is someone who raises their hand and had not considered the interference of AI in this profession.
Many are amazed at all that can be done in Hive, yet there is little motivation to become a content creator. I see that few are thinking about entrepreneurship and many are thinking about studying for a career; although one asked me about trading.
This project is reaching its end point, with many enriching experiences. Soon with all the results of this second phase.

Hoy fue una jornada de trabajo intensa en "Hive va a la Escuela". Hicimos cuatro secciones de 30 estudiantes cada una. Un total de 120 estudiantes conocieron a Hive y la Web3.
Esta es la segunda vez que vamos al Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario, porque fuimos llamados nuevamente para atender a los chicos de cuarto año.
Pude observar a chicos muy despiertos y muy actualizados con la tecnología. Todos han escuchado sobre inteligencia artificial y muchos han usado ChatGPT. En cuanto al término de "web3" ninguno lo ha escuchado, al igual que "tecnología blockchain". Sin embargo a bitcoin sí lo han escuchado más del 90% de los asistentes. Incluso unos pocos dijeron haber tenido bitcoin en algún momento.
El tema principal se basó en la propiedad de nuestros datos y la importancia de eso. También sobre las profesiones más demandadas en Web3, pero debatiendo de cuáles serán más rápido sustituidas por la IA.
Ahora siempre pregunto quién va a estudiar idiomas, ya que los traductores humanos van a desaparecer dentro de muy poco. En todas las clases hay alguien que levanta la mano y no se había planteado la interferencia de la IA en esta profesión.
A muchos les sorprende todo lo que se puede hacer en Hive, sin embargo hay poca motivación para convertirse en creador de contenido. Veo que pocos están pensando en emprender y muchos en estudiar carrera; aunque uno me preguntó por el trading.
Este proyecto está alcanzando su punto final, con muchísimas experiencias enriquecedoras. Pronto con todos los resultados de esta segunda fase.
