Today a new episode of Hive goes to School. This time in an emblematic area of Caracas; La Pastora.
We were at Colegio San Judas Tadeo and gave a talk. The truth is that this school has three sections per level, but they couldn't coordinate to do them all on the same day, so we will go three days in a row to this great school.
We were amazed @enmy and I at how big it is. From the outside it doesn't look like it. Another thing we loved is the friendliness of the staff, their director and coordinator took wonderful care of us.
The students were very polite and interested in the subject. Something that struck us all was when they said: "We are late", referring to the advanced information we were giving them.
I also loved that the coordinator is aware of the importance of being up to date with technology and asked us to do a workshop for teachers. It is gratifying to get people who are awake and who analyze the panorama of the implications that technology has on society, its benefits and challenges.

Hoy un nuevo episodio de Hive va a la Escuela. Esta vez en una zona emblemática de Caracas; La Pastora.
Estuvimos en el Colegio San Judas Tadeo y dimos una charla. Lo cierto es que este colegio tiene tres secciones por nivel, pero no pudieron coordinar para hacerlas todas el mismo día, así que iremos tres días seguidos a este genial colegio.
Quedamos sorprendidos @enmy y yo de lo grande que es. Desde afuera no parece. Otra de las cosas que nos encantó es la amabilidad del personal, su directora y coordinadora nos atendieron maravillosamente.
Los estudiantes muy educados e interesados en el tema. Algo que nos impactó a todos fue cuando dijeron: "Estamos retrasados", refiriéndose a lo avanzada de la información que les estábamos brindando.
También me encantó que la coordinadora está conciente de la importancia sobre estar al día con la tecnología y nos pidió un taller para profesores. Es gratificante conseguir a personas despiertas y que analizan el panorama de las implicaciones que tiene la tecnología en la sociedad, de sus beneficios y retos.
