Greetings dear friends of Hive, we are the Escuela Técnica Nacional La Victoria (ETIN), we are grateful to our friend @Danielvehe and all those who integrate the #HiveVaALaEscuela project since they took the time to visit our institution to enter a world of knowledge and new learning for all of us.
Somos una institución educativa que está ubicada en La Victoria - Estado Aragua, y si decides quedarte a conocernos estamos seguros que te va a gustar todo lo que hacemos en nuestra institución. Es por ello que queremos darte a conocer un poco sobre nuestra historia y lo que hacemos aquí.
We are an educational institution located in La Victoria - Aragua State, and if you decide to stay and get to know us we are sure that you will like everything we do in our institution. That is why we want to let you know a little about our history and what we do here.
La Victoria, caracterizada como la Ciudad de La Juventud, sin duda alguna ha sido el lugar ideal para el desarrollo de nuestra institución como la única institución educativa de este tipo en todo el Eje Este de nuestro estado, el cual está comprendido por 5 municipios importantes (Santos Michelena, José Rafael Revenga, José Félix Ribas, Bolívar y Tovar), es por ello que somos ejemplo de educación técnica y recibimos estudiantes de diversos lugares.
La Victoria, characterized as the City of Youth, has undoubtedly been the ideal place for the development of our institution as the only educational institution of its kind in the entire Eastern Axis of our state, which is comprised of 5 important municipalities (Santos Michelena, José Rafael Revenga, José Félix Ribas, Bolívar and Tovar), which is why we are an example of technical education and receive students from various places.

La Escuela Técnica Industrial Nacional “La Victoria", fue fundada oficialmente en el año 1976, por el profesor Rafael D` Elías, se encuentra ubicada en la calle Vicentelli n° 78-1 específicamente frente a los bomberos de la ciudad. Es una institución dedicada a la formación técnica de los jóvenes en sus años de bachillerato. Contamos con varias menciones en las que permitimos que nuestros estudiantes puedan desarrollarse y explorar sus habilidades. La institución forma a los estudiantes en la especialidad industrial con las siguientes menciones:
• Electricidad.
• Metalmecánica.
• Telemática
• Mecatrónica
• Construcción civil
Los estudiantes se forman en 6 años para integrarse al campo productivo del país y a los estudios de educación superior. Como institución contamos con espacios que fomentan la seguridad y el aprendizaje de nuestros estudiantes entre ellos se encuentran: el cnae, departamento de orientación, enfermería, cultura, departamento de pasantía, sala de recursos para el aprendizaje, cantina y un cebit.
The National Industrial Technical School "La Victoria", was officially founded in 1976, by Professor Rafael D` Elias, and is located at 78-1 Vicentelli Street, specifically in front of the city's fire department. It is an institution dedicated to the technical training of young people in their high school years. We have several mentions in which we allow our students to develop and explore their skills. The institution trains students in the industrial specialty with the following mentions:
• Electricity.
• Metal mechanics.
• Telematics
• Mechatronics
• Civil construction
Students are trained in 6 years to integrate into the productive field of the country and higher education studies. As an institution we have spaces that promote the safety and learning of our students, among them are: the cnae, orientation department, nursing, culture, internship department, learning resources room, canteen and a cebit.
Como institución fomentamos el desarrollo de las habilidades personales de cada uno de nuestros estudiantes, que ellos puedan sentirse satisfechos en las actividades que realizan día a día y que, al momento de adentrarse en el campo laboral, sea una empresa o un emprendimiento propio, puedan desempeñar sus labores con el mejor entusiasmo y desempeño.
As an institution we encourage the development of the personal skills of each of our students, so that they can feel satisfied in the activities they perform every day and that, when they enter the labor field, whether it is a company or their own enterprise, they can perform their work with the best enthusiasm and performance.
Los estudiantes egresados de nuestra institución son ejemplo del empeño y valentía que nos caracteriza a los venezolanos, y todos han puesto un granito de arena para enaltecer a nuestra institución ante los diversos encuentros que hemos tenido con otras instituciones técnicas.
The students graduated from our institution are an example of the determination and courage that characterizes us Venezuelans, and all of them have done their bit to exalt our institution in the various meetings we have had with other technical institutions.
Como fue el caso de la primera Expoferia Nacional de Escuelas Técnicas que se realizó en el estado Yaracuy en la ciudad de San Felipe, donde como Escuela Técnica Industrial de la Victoria destacamos con este proyecto que fue realizado por los estudiantes del 3 ciclo técnico profesional de la mención de mecánica, durante tres meses se desarrolló el prototipo de vehículo karting, que deslumbró a los presentes y fue el centro de atracción de la feria nacional, reconociendo el talento victoriano. El prototipo fue creado con material reciclable y con donaciones de empresas privadas, el motor es de una podadora, el chasis del carro es de material reciclado de rejas y mesas sillas dañadas, al evento asistieron más de 2500 personas y sin duda alguna fue una increíble experiencia para todos los presentes.
As was the case of the first National Expofair of Technical Schools that was held in the state of Yaracuy in the city of San Felipe, where as Industrial Technical School of La Victoria we stand out with this project that was made by students of the 3rd professional technical cycle of the mention of mechanics, for three months we developed the prototype karting vehicle, which dazzled those present and was the center of attraction of the national fair, recognizing the Victorian talent. The prototype was created with recyclable material and donations from private companies, the engine is from a lawn mower, the chassis of the car is made of recycled material from damaged fences and tables and chairs. The event was attended by more than 2500 people and was undoubtedly an incredible experience for all present..
Luego en la Feria Nacional de Escuelas Técnicas realizada en Ciudad Bolívar, estado Bolívar, presentando el segundo prototipo de vehículo karting que se puede ver en la siguiente foto. La exposición estuvo enfocada en los proyectos socio productivos en el área de mecánica de mantenimiento y automotriz. El chasis del vehículo fue diseñado por software de dibujo asistido por computadora en tres dimensiones en tubo redondo de una pulgada y media, permitiendo mejoras aerodinámicas, un gran avance para el currículo y el perfil del estudiante. El motor incorporado fue de moto aumentando su potencia y rendimiento. A diferencia del primer karting, este se le agrego una caja de cambio sincrónica. La finalidad de este encuentro fue el compartir de saberes, experiencias y demostrar las potencialidades de cada institución.
Then at the National Fair of Technical Schools held in Ciudad Bolivar, Bolivar state, presenting the second prototype of the karting vehicle that can be seen in the following photo. The exhibition was focused on socio-productive projects in the area of maintenance and automotive mechanics. The chassis of the vehicle was designed by computer aided drawing software in three dimensions in one and a half inch round tube, allowing aerodynamic improvements, a breakthrough for the curriculum and the student's profile. The incorporated engine was a motorcycle engine increasing its power and performance. Unlike the first karting, this one was fitted with a synchronous gearbox. The purpose of this meeting was to share knowledge, experiences and demonstrate the potential of each institution.
En nuestra institución hemos realizado diversos proyectos, y uno de los más emblemáticos es el de pintura ecológica para paredes, liderizado por la Prof. Delis Gutiérrez, quien se formó en nuestra institución y luego regresa a ella como personal docente. La pintura se realiza con materia prima natural, como lo es la penca de Nopal o Tuna, como es conocida en Venezuela. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora, donde los estudiantes de Construcción Civil se abocaron en la realización de dicho proyecto, el cual trajo beneficios económicos por la venta de esta pintura, además de los diversos conocimientos adquiridos por todos los que allí participaron.
In our institution we have carried out several projects, and one of the most emblematic is the ecological painting of walls, led by Prof. Delis Gutiérrez, who was trained in our institution and then returns to it as teaching staff. The painting is done with natural raw material, such as the Nopal cactus or Tuna, as it is known in Venezuela. It was an enriching experience, where the students of Civil Construction were engaged in the realization of this project, which brought economic benefits from the sale of this painting, in addition to the various knowledge acquired by all those who participated.
En la actualidad se ha dado un proceso de implementación de la figura jurídica: Unidades de Producción Territorial Aristóbulo Izturiz (UTEPAI), para comercializar y desarrollar bienes y servicios. Es la máxima expresión de lo que soñaba Simón Rodríguez, que es el padre de la educación Técnica Venezolana, para luchar contra la desigualdad social. Y hoy día dada la situación económica del país es una oportunidad para impulsar el emprendimiento de estudiantes, docentes e inclusive de la comunidad, y poder desarrollarlos dentro de la escuela técnica, con todas las herramientas que la misma posee, y de esta manera se le facilita todo el proceso a los emprendedores, además que permite economizar algunos costos.
Currently there has been a process of implementation of the legal figure: Aristobulo Izturiz Territorial Production Units (UTEPAI), to market and develop goods and services. This is the maximum expression of what Simón Rodríguez, the father of Venezuelan technical education, dreamed of in order to fight against social inequality. And today, given the economic situation of the country, it is an opportunity to promote the entrepreneurship of students, teachers and even the community, and to develop them within the technical school, with all the tools that it has, and in this way the whole process is facilitated to the entrepreneurs, and it also allows to save some costs.
Otro proyecto educativo que ha sido interesante en nuestra institución fue el de diseño y fabricación de brazos neumáticos para dar respuesta a la falta de medios didácticos neumáticos. Lo que generaba debilidades cognitivas, falta de destrezas y habilidades en los estudiantes al momento de realizar su proceso de pasantías, egresados de la Escuela técnica industrial con debilidades en su perfil las cuales afectan para proseguir con éxito estudios a nivel superior, para laborar en la empresa o crear su propio negocio. Debido al alto costo económico de los elementos neumáticos el grupo de docentes tomó la decisión de solicitar la donación a la empresa privada gracias a que en la zona existen muchas empresas que usan la neumática en sus procesos de producción.
Another educational project that has been interesting in our institution was the design and manufacture of pneumatic arms to respond to the lack of pneumatic teaching aids. This generated cognitive weaknesses, lack of skills and abilities in students at the time of their internship process, graduates of the Industrial Technical School with weaknesses in their profile which affect to successfully pursue higher education, to work in the company or create their own business. Due to the high economic cost of the pneumatic elements, the group of teachers made the decision to request the donation to the private company thanks to the fact that in the area there are many companies that use pneumatics in their production processes.
Durante años estos han sido ejemplos del aprendizaje impartido para nuestros estudiantes y que sin duda alguna han dado frutos positivos y han generado un gran impacto social en nuestra ciudad y en las empresas que hacen vida aquí.
Antes de finalizar nos encantaría agradecer a @danielvehe, @enmymente, @rutablockchain y @bluemist por brindarnos esta increíble oportunidad para nuestra escuela y para todos nuestros estudiantes que sin duda alguna son el futuro de Venezuela.

Over the years these have been examples of the learning imparted to our students that have undoubtedly borne positive fruits and have generated a great social impact in our city and in the companies that make life here.
