What is Discord and how much beneficial for hive?
As i know discord is an instant messaging app which has lots of features such as text, voice and videos. It has a great feature that is known as create channel, it means a separate community. It is very much similar to Whatsapp i think. Hope you understand its meaning.
Is it beneficial for hive blockchain?
I am in discord since more than two years and i am member also in various community channels and i have always used this discord app for post promotion and frankly saying only 10% benefits i had from it. As i said that i have used or using it only for post promotion within a limited channel or community and simply i can say that my own post is being promoting within hive blockchain only, my post is being promoting only with my own friends which are already following me or to whom i follow. People are not giving much time in feed section, trending section or other section usually rather they spend time in post promotion channels or in general chat channels and select some posts from there to read or curate but what is the meaning of feed section in our Dapps? Hive is not like Steem where anyone will just create a community and start helping to their own community members only. Hive has bright feature and we need to spread it broadly everywhere so it is not possible form Discord. Self limited growth of users or hive owners is possible but in perspective of hive it is not beneficial at all.
Why Twitter is being popular for post promoting?
I am in Twitter also since long time in fact since Steem time with @nathanmars and lots of friends.
We actually promoting hive and our posts there in broad area. As you know that Twitter has million or billion users and it works good with #hash tags. We just use proper hash tags and publish our posts along with hash tags such as #hive, #blockchain, #photography etc. It means we are spreading our hive in broad area as well as our post is being read by huge person, yes i know there are many new readers who can not upvote or give reward but at least they can read our blog and can know about hive. If we use Twitter as a medium to promote hive and our blog then we could have double benefits, Hive will grow and visitors will surely increase. If Hive will grow then i will grow and you can grow also...
I can not force to anyone because Hive is not for me only but it is for all hence you are owner of your own decision.
