When we talk about value in the world of cryptocurrencies, what may first come to mind is how a particular asset performs in relation to the US dollar and what its market capitalization is. I am not saying that these are not important aspects, of course they are, but I believe that value is something that goes beyond economics.

In this sense, we can take a look at the etymology of value, which in the first instance was synonymous with being brave, being strong, or having vigor. Over time, it became associated with monetary stimulation, that is, price, but it was also understood as merit or utility. That said, it should be understood that the value of such an asset, in our case $Hive, goes beyond the financial.
When you learn about Hive and get involved with the technology and community, you understand that you are dealing with a project whose value, usefulness, or merit is unspeakably underestimated by its monetary price. However, assets not only have value in relation to other assets, but can also be valuable per se.

No se si has estado atento a toda la movida de los mercados en estos últimos días, pero, ha habido un movimiento fortísimo en el mercado, pues muchos activos por no decir todos han sufrido caídas abismales en su precio. Honestamente, no he estado muy atento a los movimientos del mercado y el por qué ha ocurrido lo que ha ocurrido, desconozco la razón o razones del desplome.
Lo cierto es que independientemente como puedas interpretar este desplome en el mercado, creo que me permite proporcionar una perspectiva que espero pueda parecerte interesante o digna de tu atención. Pero, lo que pretendo con estas líneas es proporcionar una mirada a las criptomonedas más allá del valor financiero que posee cada una.
Cuando hablamos de valor en el mundo de las criptomonedas puede que lo que primero viene a nuestra mente es como un determinado activo se comporta en relación con el dólar estadounidense y cual es su capitalización de mercado y no digo que no sean aspectos importantes, por supuesto que lo son, pero, creo que el valor es algo que no solo queda en lo económico sino que lo trasciende.. bd

En este sentido podemos darle un vistazo a la etimología de valor, que en primera instancia venía siendo sinónimo de ser valiente, ser fuerte o tener vigor, luego con el tiempo se le adjudicó relación a la estimulación monetaria, es decir el precio, pero también se entendió como mérito o utilidad. ¿Por qué no miro el precio del Hive?
Personalmente solo miro el precio de las criptos cuando estoy activo operando en algún exchange que no suelo hacerlo mucho que se diga, pero, no miro el precio de Hive porque no me interesa tener más dólares cuando de Hive se trata, me interesa el Hive por el Hive mismo.

Con esto no digo que no me importe el precio del Hive, por supuesto que si, ya a medida que pueda aumentar de valor en el sentido económico de la expresión se podría decir que desde lo económico está ganando valor y significa que más personas o proyectos pueden apreciar que Hive es una blockchain poderosa.
