[PL] Tak wygląda obecnie europejska część mapy miejsc akceptujących HBD/HIVE. Ta jedna czerwona kropka to @krolestwo. Jedyne miejsce w Europie, a i tak mało kto korzysta z tej możliwości. Powodów takiego stanu rzeczy jest kilka. Po pierwsze polska społeczność Hive jest mała. Po drugie mało kto ma HBD, a nawet jeśli ma to zazwyczaj posiada też tokeny RCR/RCRT, więc nie ma potrzeby wydawać HBD. Oczywiście można by przeprowadzić jakiś eksperymentalny program angażujący ludzi z Krakowa, tak by mogli dostawać i wydawać HBD. No tylko brakuje kogoś kto by go sfinansował. Innej drogi niestety nie widzę. Polska to nie Wenezuela. Nikt nie będzie wymieniał złotówek na HBD, aby nimi zapłacić za coś w sklepie. Ludzie raczej ułatwiają sobie życie a nie utrudniają. Jeśli więc chcemy by ludzie używali HBD musimy im je rozdać. Lub raczej zaangażować w coś, aby mogli je dostać.
Wczoraj miałem rozmowę rekrutacyjną do Szkoły Bez Kresu. Wiążę spore nadzieje z tym projektem. Również w kontekście Hive i jego wykorzystania. Jest to jednak najtrudniejszy do wytłumaczenia element układanki. Wczoraj z @mynewlife próbowaliśmy, ale nie wiem z jakim efektem. Dla większości ludzi to czarna magia. Proste polecanie przynosi marne rezultaty. I tu znów dochodzimy do tej samej konkluzji: ludzi trzeba zaangażować w coś, aby mogli dostać HBD, aby mogli je wydać i zrozumieć cały system. Najbardziej naturalne byłoby oczywiście pisanie, ale doświadczenie ostatnich kilku lat pokazuje, że raczej przynosi to średnie efekty. Ludzie znikają z Hive tak szybko jak się pojawili. Może uda się to w ramach Szkoły Bez Kresu. Chciałbym, by w ramach tego programu młodzi ludzie zaczęli używać Hive. Czy się to uda? Czas pokaże. Na razie wszystko zdaje się iść w dobrym kierunku...

[ENG] This is how the European part of the map of places accepting HBD/HIVE currently looks like. The one red dot is @krolestwo. The only place in Europe, and still hardly anyone takes advantage of this possibility. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, the Polish Hive community is small. Secondly, not many people have HBD, and even if they do, they usually also have RCR/RCRT tokens, so there is no need to spend HBD. Of course, it would be possible to run some kind of experimental programme involving people from Krakow, so that they could get and spend HBD. Well only lacking someone to fund it. I don't see any other way, unfortunately. Poland is not Venezuela. Nobody is going to exchange their zloty for HBD to pay for something in a shop. People make their lives easier rather than harder. So if we want people to use HBD we have to give it to them. Or rather engage them in something so they can get them.
Yesterday I had a recruitment interview for the School Without Limit. I have high hopes for this project. Also in the context of Hive and its use. However, this is the most difficult element to explain. Yesterday @mynewlife and I tried, but I don't know with what result. For most people it is black magic. A simple recommendation brings poor results. Again, this brings us to the same conclusion: people need to be involved in something so they can get HBD, so they can spend it and understand the whole system. The most natural thing to do would of course be to write, but the experience of the last few years shows that this tends to bring average results. People disappear from Hive as quickly as they appeared. Perhaps it will be possible to do this as part of the School Without Limit. I would like to see young people start using Hive as part of this programme. Will it be successful? Time will tell. So far everything seems to be going in the right direction....
