It's good to be here today to talk about Hive and my journey in it so far.
HOW I WAS INTRODUCED TO HIVE
I got to hear about Hive from a childhood friend @fokusnow who have been doing so well in it but because of my limited knowledge about hive at the time and the distance between us, he lives in the Eastern part of Nigeria, while I live in the Western part of Nigeria, so I never got convinced that what he was doing was legitimate as we barely have to to talk in-depth about Hive so I remained sceptical about the whole thing.
THE TURNING POINT
About 2years ago, I meet another friend, an active fellow in Hive @beauty197 who later became a local guide in Lagos and seeing things she was doing in and with Hive, I got more interested and some weeks after discussing with her at length and have most of my questions answered to satisfaction, she onboarded me and so my journey in Hive started. She is so passionate about Hive and have been active in it . So she really serves as a motivator for me. This is us in a function
MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR.
I have come to love Hive for its security, exposure to the crypto market, stability and transparency. I have come to love and enjoy many if it's activities and have been participating in them to the best of my ability. For example, I love the spend HBD project that have pushed hive as a means of transaction even in our locality and seeing the benefits, I have encouraged family and friends to join Hive like @chikezin @edafeejiri788
Seeing how they have been doing and the assistant their local guide are giving them in their respective locations, am convinced they will do better because they are in the best hands and eikm get the necessary assistance they need to explore.
CHALLENGES.
Begin limited in what I know about the crypto market and use of technology, I struggle to talk about most topics and navigate my way through the system. But because of the secured nature of the crypto market and the great awareness Hive is giving the coin, many have developed interest and have started transacting with it making many users more comfortable with it.
Another challenge I have is my eye sight which doesn't allow me spend too much time on the screen. However am not giving up. Currently and working on getting an eyeglass so that I can be as effective as I wish and go as far as I want to in the Hive world.
DETERMINATION AND GOALS
Regardless the seeming obstacles and discouragement, am determined to keep busy in HIVE because I have come to love it. Thanks to #snaps and #ecencywaves that actively engage users in short content whereby keeping the zeal going and getting to know others in the Blockchain. I was even excited one day to see myself in the first position on the leaderboard
Which served as a reminder to me that will dedicated efforts and sacrifices I can achieve great things in Hive. My goal is to remain as committed as possible and to make good use of my time on social media to something useful and rewarding and nothing else comes to mind readily than Hive. So no going back
APPRECIATION
I sincerely want to that all who are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that hive thrive. The brains behind this Blockchain and the many who are sponsoring the activities. The different communities that have introduced many activities that keep users busy with engagement. I also want to thank my good friends who never gave up on me even when they had done what they reasonably can to explain to me what they where introducing me to and yet I wasn't responding as I should. But right right now am sure they are happy seriime grow gradually and my promise to them is that every effort and sacrifices they have made to bring me here is highly appreciated and won't be in vain.
