TOUCHING LIVES THROUGH HIVE!

in Loving HIVE ❤27 days ago
Hive is to different things as it is to different people. To some people, Hive is a daily bread and a source of income, and this is as regards the majority (the developing countries) of African and Asian countries. And to some, Hive remains a lifelong investment, one where their wealth is vested and invested. Hive is thus a promoter of decentralization, and block chain #web3 accommodates all without prejudice or nepotism. Every individual with prospects and contributions to the block chain is welcome. Though an online platform to interact, Hive has encouraged offline engagements such as hangouts, imparting on lives through Hive earnings, and community developments like the borehole drill in Ghana. This, in a simple term, is touching lives!

As a way of contributing to the block chain, I am nurturing, like a nursery, some prospective Hivers whom I believe would impact the block chain positively. Currently, I am giving them virtual tutorials on Hive blogging and hoping to impact their lives by onboarding the ready ones soon. My little drop in the ocean may not mean much, but to these lives, I hope Hive will be a thankful testimony in the months or years to come.

EXPLORING HIVE

My presence on the block chain is barely two years old (till October, before I clock two years on Hive), and I have not been able to fully explore the great potential of Hive. I will attempt to mention a few below:

PEOPLE AND AUTHORS ON HIVE

I have had the opportunity to engage with mostly authors who are kind with words and also have a wealth of knowledge to share, both learned off-the-chain and learned on-the-chain. I have had a picture of life in other countries, thanks to an older friend, @terganftp who lives in Canada and has lived in the US. Also, I have friends here in Nigeria that I hope to meet someday soon, like @lightpen in faraway Kaduna. When I encounter posts and contents from these and many more, I'm intrigued and excited, knowing they dish out quality and quantity. My very first perception of Hivers is that they are receptive and would correct in a respectable manner. I have heard of some mean comments or authors, but I have not had any encounters with them. I cannot mention all my friends on Hive, but this is one of the opportunities to say thank you for making Hive a family to wake up to every day.

COMMUNITIES ON HIVE

You can't explore them all. The communities are much and also, innovative. Confidently, I tell friends that Hive has at least a community to accommodate any kind of content. It is left for the user to discover a suitable community. This, thus, brings me to having a niche on Hive. Preferably, I live a modest life, and #theminimalist is a perfect spot for me. But, I'm an upcoming writer, at least, not perfect or a pro, and thus, I can't do without visiting #theinkwell to learn and contribute my quota. And yet, #hivelearners and #hivenaija are communities I love as homies, probably because I can easily relate to the members. Here on Hive, you are likely to find a suitable community as it relates to your lifestyle, passion, or goals. New communities keep springing up, and an example is #holozing which is full of prospects and a game-changer for me.

GAMES ON HIVE

Games naturally help to challenge one's IQ, and rather than jump into any game, it's advantageous to learn a few tips about the game. This would set the gamer a few steps ahead of his contemporaries. #splinterland remains a Gamefi I am yet to explore, but I've chosen to stick with the innovative, evolving, and prospective #holozing which has amaZING and aesthetic healers and captors. Before now, it had all been about writing and maybe working. But all work without play makes Jack a dull boy. And Hive has not only brought games for us to 'play' but one we can earn from, and this is the main essence of #gamefi.

RECURRENT INITIATIVES

Hive is on the move! Authors and Hivers are always kept on their toes by initiatives that are dynamically constructed to challenge them. The @leogrowth guide on #inleo monthly and daily posts is a typical example where authors are put on their toes by developing quality and quantity filled contents. In like manner, #hivelearners, #hiveghana, #theinkwell etc. frequently role out inspiring topics to write on. Authors are often left with topics to write about and not a chance to be idle or blank. The not-too-long recently concluded Inleo #zealy contest was one that put authors and Hivers on their toes. Initiatives are often rolled out to on-board newbies and further highlight #hive to the world. Just like with coins and tokens out there, the community says how strong and relevant such a coin or token would be.

Hivers are also able to earn tokens from their contents just by tagging some communities and through the #hive-engine. For example, I have acquired some tokens by interacting partially with these decentralized applications or receiving gifts from comments and other authors.

Hive remains a huge force in the block chain industry to reckon with, and its stability via continuous community engagement and interaction is vital to growth and sustenance.

Thank you, Hive, for the opportunity to meet friends, learn, and earn.
