I'm @otuyanancy, I love the combination because it reminds me of my late Dad and my adopted Dad. The both of them are so special to me. Otuya is my surname while Nancy is the name given to me by my adopted dad. I'm a student, studying Microbiology in Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, Edo state Nigeria.

The first time I heard about newbies initiative was last year but before I could join, it was already late. A new one is out and thanks to @merit.ahama for sharing the link to me I'm very happy for that.
MY THOUGHTS ABOUT NEWBIES INITIATIVE
First I will like to thank the team behind this newbies initiative and I will also like to thank @aliento and @starstrings01 for making this possible. I'm so happy this initiative is in existence and I will like to be part of it so I can learn more and become a better writer. I'm sure most newbies out there will like to join newbies initiative too, please don't hesitate to join because I'm certain you will like it. MY CURRENT HIVE REPUTATION AND HIVE POWER
When I joined Hive, I started with 25 as a reputation but with great effort and consistency and of course with the help of everyone, I'm currently in reputation 54 and my Hive power is 73+
MY PURPOSE OF JOINING NEWBIES INITIATIVE
My main aim of joining newbies initiative is to get more knowledge about Hive and also to build my Hive account. I also want to know more about the new communities. I believe getting to know more about new communities and their rules will also improve my writing skills. I'm sure this communities will have things you can engage yourself in to boost your writing skills. Since I'm new in cryptocurrency, I like love to know more about it there growing my network. Another thing is to get to meet new friends and learn new things from them too.
DETAILS ABOUT MY BLOG
Ever since I joined Hive, I have come to love writing, so I can say now that I'm a passionate writer and a student. I love to motivate people because I believe motivating them will encourage them to do more. I also love to travel, I like exploring other parts of my country Nigeria and if I'm given the opportunity, I will explore the whole world.
I like giving detailed information about things I have seen or experience and I'm sure you will always love to hangout with me because there's no dulling moment around me.
This is my application for the newbies initiative and I would appreciate if my application is accepted as I have decided to be consistent and grow my account using this opportunity.
Special thanks to those who have made this initiative a success, and thanks to my friend @merit.ahama for introducing me to Hive and to this initiative. I hope to grow while I learn on this program.
