I think this is because everyone has had a different level of education and has reached a different level of academic sophistication.
What I (I have a Masters Degree) deem as "shit" is probably "higher quality", than what people with a lower education would think. I don't live in an ivory tower all the time, though.
But you can tell when someone has put their heart into content, and you can tell when they're faking it, as though to placate a temporal lover - and it that offends me, because I try to put all my effort into hive, even my comments.
