FIRST MONTHIVESARY | WHY I BOARDED ON HIVE AND HOW I WAS DOING SO FAR

"EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON!"

Do you believe in Destiny? Well, I do. A month ago, I wasn't here in hive, I was blogging on my own website that I worked really hard for ten long years. There came a point that I almost gave up writing quality content because most of the bloggers I know, were already jumping into the new bandwagon which is Vlogging! I tried too. But I didn't find the joy that I was feeling when I wrote contents on my blog. I felt like I was doing something that wasn't me. Writing seems more genuine for me since I'm more spontaneous and I always put my heart into it. Writing brings me to places and made me recall my adventure without having to worry about me, being awkward talking in front of the camera.

And then, one day, someone handed me over this cute card that says "Bee One of Us!".

My colleague gave it to me. He said, he met this beautiful lady and handed this over. He didn't understand any words she said but when she mentioned blogging, it reminded him of me. So, he approached me then and gave me this card. He said, he couldn't explain what it was all about but it's best for me to contact this beautiful lady. Well, I won't lose anything if I'll try. I went to her instagram and I began stalking her. Then I saw her stories and post with the screen shots of her blog content with some figures on it. I was curious then. I followed the instructions and took a photo of it then dm'ed @purepinay . She didn't responded right away. It took her 3 days to respond (but it's worth the wait!) I didn't know how to respond with everything she said because to be honest, I don't understand anything at all. But when she invited me over to attend the seminar to introduce hive better, I didn't hesitated, I just said Yes right away. I even brought my sister with me @jongcl because I know she loves writing and she also told me a few days ago before the seminar that she will be blogging again, since she's been idle on the blogosphere for quiet long already. I was actually the one who made her own website when she decided to write a few years back.

So, when I finally listened last month, on how hive works and what it actually brings? I was beyond happy that I found a new reason to pursue blogging. And you guys are my inspiration to keep going. Thank you for reading my intro post last month and I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to be here. I believe that Hive is not just about earning, it's more than that. It's getting actual people to listen and supports your journey. That there are bunch of you guys here who actually reads my blog and even left such meaningful comments that boosted me up to continue bringing valuable contents here in the platform.

SO HOW AM I AFTER A MONTH?

Every Upvotes means a lot to me too and I'm happy to officially announce it here, that because of your support I now have my very own domain connecting to my blog content here in Hive through Engrave! Yay!!

I. PURCHASED MY OWN BLOG DOMAIN WITH HIVE EARNINGS!

What's even great about having your own blog domain is that you can actually categorized it according to your content without having to scroll over your old post. Hive is really great to those who wanted to blog but didn't know how to start from scratch and wanted to have their own space in the blogosphere. I'll be pitching this to those who have asked me before on how to start a blog because Hive is a really great platform.

Plus having your own domain will attract brands to work or collaborate with you. I actually have mine already with my previous website but since I'll be blogging here more, I wanted to focus on re-building my brand here on hive.

II. THERE'S REAL MONEY ON HIVE!

This one is so real! We have actually withdrawn already, the first successful withdrawal I've done was when I helped my sister @jongcl in withdrawing Hive transferred to her Gcash Account. And when it was my turn the following day, I thought I memorized the steps already but I failed. I am filing a dispute on binance though to get it back. So I tried withdrawing again and it was a successful withdrawal from binance to my coins.ph Wallet! And oh, I am also trying to save up my earnings by transferring it to my Hive Savings because boy! That's 10% interest! Where can I get that?

IV. SUCCESSFUL WITHDRAWAL & WHAT I BOUGHT

Yay! After my 2nd attempt, I finally got it! And I finally bought an electric fan since we needed a replacement for the old one.

III. INVITED & ATTENDED FUN EVENTS!

Gilaine @purepinay really is an angel to me! I believe that I was destined to meet her at the peak of an argument with myself to pursue blogging. It was an answered prayer.

Anyways, it's less than a month in Hive when we we're invited to attend her Zumba Party that was a successful gathering with fellow Cebu Hivers and she's now already planning for the next gathering. She's really awesome right? We're already looking forward for it Gilaine.

IV. REWARDED FOR CONSISTENCY IN POSTING

I along with my sister @jongcl and niece @kcwonders have been rewarded with yummy cheese burgers!! It was indeed a surprise that we weren't expecting at all. Thank you @purepinay you really are awesome! To more cheeseburgers!!

All good ... I'm happy that I can support some how :)
And building brand here on hive can work out in long run definitely. We will be patient and see where it all leads.
