if it works so great for HIVE, why not apply the same "stake based community consensus" to all transactions ?
i mean, if you're rich enough, you can sponsor legislation to over-tax and over-regulate your competitors and or any type of business you deem "unsavory".
heck, you can "downvote" someone you don't like just by calling the cops on them.
