Welcome once again to a new post on my blog. I'm bringing you a Hive-inspired design, so I'm joining the #Lovinghive members in demonstrating my determination and commitment to dedicating time and quality drawings to this platform. I decided to create a character of my own that represents everything I want to convey on this platform. I'd like to create a sort of virtual pet, but I'll save that for later, since making a character represent an entire community is a bit more complex.
I've always been known for showing what I like to learn and, at the same time, sharing what little I know about drawing, both manual and traditional. And since I love learning new things and discovering new horizons, I also like to add a touch of magic to give each of my designs a little more personalization and a unique style. You'll probably already know what it's about from the cover, but I wanted to explain a little bit before showing what I created.
The character I created is based on what I would call a magician. With his staff, his peculiar hat, and, if you recall correctly, adding my chibi style, which I polish almost daily to bring you the different characters you already know. But this time I wanted to go a step further and took the risk of bringing you this character from my imagination, full of magic and wisdom.

Bienvenidos una vez más a un nuevo post en mi blog. Les traigo un diseño inspirado en Hive, así que me uno a los miembros de #Lovinghive demostrando mi determinación y empeño de estar dedicando tiempo y dibujos de calidad para esta plataforma. Me decidí a hacer un personaje de mi autoría el cual representa todo lo que quiero transmitir en esta plataforma. Me gustaría hacer una especie de mascota virtual, pero eso lo dejaré para más adelante, ya que lograr que un personaje represente a toda una comunidad es un poco más complejo.
Siempre me he caracterizado por demostrar lo que me gusta aprender y a su vez enseñar lo poco que sé en cuanto a dibujo, tanto manual como tradicional. Y como me gusta aprender cosas nuevas y descubrir nuevos horizontes, también me gusta agregar un toque de magia para darle a cada uno de mis diseños un poco más de personalización con un estilo único. Seguro ya sabrás de qué trata por la portada, pero quería explicarme un poco antes de mostrar lo que elaboré.
El personaje que creé está basado en lo que yo llamaría un mago. Con su báculo, su sombrero peculiar y, si bien recuerdan, agregando mi estilo Chibi que estoy puliendo casi a diario para traerles los diferentes personajes que ya conocen. Pero esta vez quise ir un paso más allá y me arriesgué a traerles este personaje salido de mi imaginación, cargado de magia y sabiduría.

To continue practicing my chibi style, I added a few accessories to the character that I thought went well with the design. Her magic book features the Hive logo, where she draws her magic with different spells and also helps her learn new tricks. Her staff was the most fun part of the drawing; it's where she channels her power.
I kept the sketch simple, using guidelines to structure her face and body. I used basic shapes like circles, triangles, and other geometric forms. Once I had it ready, I digitized it with ibis Paint x.

En su libro mágico tiene el logo de Hive, de donde obtiene su fuente de magia con diferentes hechizos y además le sirve para aprender trucos nuevos. En cuanto a su báculo, fue lo más divertido que hice en el dibujo, es con él que canaliza su poder.
El boceto lo mantuve sencillo, utilizando líneas guía para estructurar su rostro y su cuerpo. Utilicé formas básicas como círculos, triángulos y otras formas geométricas. Una vez teniéndolo listo, lo llevé a digitalizar con el programa ibis paint x.

When I take my drawing to the digitizing process, it means it's ready to begin coloring, highlighting the sketch lines first. To add color, I decided to use multiple layers, sectioning the drawing into specific zones or areas. To better explain what I did, I'm showing you the coloring process with a short, high-speed video. But the drawing took me about an hour to complete. In the end, I liked how it turned out, and seeing the final result, I think the video is worth watching.
Cuando llevo mi dibujo al proceso de digitalización, significa que ya está listo para empezarlo a colorear, resaltando las líneas del boceto primero. Para agregarle color decidí usar varias capas, seccionando el dibujo por zonas o áreas específicas. Para explicarme mejor lo que hice, les muestro el proceso de coloreado con un video corto editado con alta velocidad. Pero el dibujo me llevó terminarlo en una hora.
