Whoever has had the curiosity to read about the origin of chess, surely knows the legend according to which the inventor of this famous game, asked the Indian rajah as a reward for his invention, that in the first square of the chessboard he put a grain of wheat, doubling the amount of the previous one in the following, and so on until completing the 64 squares. The rajah found the inventor's request insignificant and ordered the wise men of the palace to make the calculation and deliver what was requested. To everyone's surprise, the final number was so large that there was no way to fulfill the request. According to the same legend, when faced with such a brilliant formulation, the rajah decided to hire the creator of the game to work in the palace.
The mathematical "phenomenon" that occurs there, is what is called exponential growth, which is characterized by growing faster, the more it grows.
This serves as a preamble to my recollection of the first time I decided that I was going to grow my Hive Power. At first, the lower my HP was, the lower the income was, but day by day I am seeing how the story of the chessboard is reflected in my Hive curations. Quien haya tenido la curiosidad de leer sobre el origen del ajedrez, seguramente conoce la leyenda según la cual el inventor de este célebre juego, le pidió al rajá indio como recompensa por su invento, que en el primer cuadro pusiera un grano de trigo, duplcando esa cantidad para el siguiente cuadro hasta completar los 64. Al rajá le pareció insignificante la petición del inventor y ordenó a los sabios del palacio que hicieran el cálculo y entregaran lo solicitado. Ante la sorpresa de todos, el número final era tan grande que no había forma de cumplir la solicitud. Dice la misma leyenda que ante tan genial formulación, el rajá decidió contratar al creador del juego para trabajar en el palacio.
El "fenómeno" matemático que ocurre allí, es lo que se denomina crecimiento exponencial, el cual se caracteriza por ir creciendo más rápido, a medida que más crece.
Esto sirve de preámbulo a mi recuerdo de la primera vez que decidí que yo iba a hacer crecer mi Hive Power. Al principio, mientras era más bajo mi HP, los ingresos eran más bajo, pero día a día voy comprobando como la historia del tablero de ajedrez, se refleja en mis curaciones en Hive. En la medida que más invierto en HP, voy ganando más por recompensas de curación y estas abultan más el monto para seguir ese "crecimiento exponencial".

Once you understand this, you don't want to stop investing in more HP, because you know the payoff will get bigger and bigger. And although at first it seems that the author rewards "don't add up", you later discover that it works just like in the famous Indian legend, in which after placing a single grain in the first box and two in the second, it ends up in the sum of 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 grains.
That's why I like to keep an eye on my investment and review the amounts invested on a monthly basis. Thanks to the extraordinary boosting and promotion activity carried out by @victoriabsb and @traciyork, which is now fully supported by @arcange and @hivebuzz, every month I join #HPUD to make this statistic that allows me to clearly visualize what I'm investing.
In this calculation I do not take into consideration the HP I receive for my posts, nor for the curation rewards, but exclusively the amount I invest in doing Power Up during the month.
I know that my mechanics is not the same as the #HPUD, because there we talk about the Power Up done in a single day, that is, the 1st of each month. I decided to do it differently and I do Power Up during the whole month and on the 1st of the following month, as it is today, I make my report where all my Power Up operations are recorded.
The only sad thing about doing it this way is that I am not eligible to receive my "Power Up Day" badge. I received one last month because I saved my funds to do the Power Up following that routine to get at least one badge, but I am back to my usual method because I feel more comfortable doing it that way.

Y aunque al principio parece que las recompensas de autor "no suman", después descubres que funciona igual que en la famosa leyenda india, en la cual después de colocar un grano en la primera casilla y dos en la segunda, terminó en la suma de 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 granos de trigo.
Por eso me gusta estar pendiente de mi inversión y reviso mensualmente los montos invertidos. Gracias a la extraordinaria actividad de promoción e impulso que realizan @victoriabsb y @traciyork, que además tiene ahora pleno respaldo de @arcange y de @hivebuzz, mes a mes me sumo al #HPUD para realizar esta estadística que me permite visualizar claramente lo que estoy invirtiendo.
En este cálculo no tomo en consideración el HP que recibo por mis publicaciones, ni por las recompensas de curación, sino exclusivamente la cantidad que yo invierto en hacer Power Up durante el mes.
Yo sé que mi mecánica no es la misma que plantea el #HPUD, pues allí se habla del Power Up realizado en un solo día, es decir el día 1 de cada mes. Yo decidí hacerlo de manera distinta y voy haciendo Power Up durante todo el mes y el día 1 del mes siguiente, como lo es hoy, realizo mi informe donde queda registro de todas mis operaciones de Power Up.
Lo único triste de hacerlo así, es que yo no opto a recibir mi insignia del "Power Up Day". Recibí una el mes pasado porque guardé mis fondos para hacer el Power Uo siguiendo esa rutina y así obtener al menos una insignia, pero ya volví a mi método habitual, pues así me siento más confortable.
Así que sin más discurso, dejo a continuación la lista completa correspondiente al mes de marzo de 2021.

It has been a matter of ease, I get a payment and do the Power Up instantly. But after receiving the suggestion directly from you, I'll try to keep apart this amount for powering up on each 1st of month and get my little bash...! 😉
