It is a real pleasure for me to be in this contest in which I was invited, which seems to me a great and beautiful, because it gives us all opportunities to share all those places of interest that are in every city and country of ours, so I invite you to travel using your imagination because I will take you to a beautiful place.
My photos correspond to a walk to La Llovizna Park, which is also known as Cachamay Park, whose name is of Pemon origin and means "grass that does good ”.
From the moment you enter this park, it is like entering those parks that we see in movies in other countries, but in reality does not compare to what we see in magazines, you have to be in the place and live that feeling of being in the middle of so much nature: trees, lakes, animals.
When the gates of the nearby dam are open, it is another spectacle, but that day it was closed, but it is still a marvel to see the waterfalls and the force of the water.
The bridge that you can see, keeps a sad memory, it is not the original one that once was, because it was like a hanging bridge, in which fell into the waters of the Caroni River inside the park, a group of teachers who were on a walk, when passing over the bridge there were many and it gave way, with the tragic balance.
I remember that I came to this park once when I was a girl with my mother and brothers and there were animals: crocodiles, tigers, but the only ones we can see are some monkeys, which we can give them food like fish when passing through the passage of the stones.
It is really wonderful to come to this park, for walks, picnics, meetings, events, as long as we respect the rules of order and care of the park.
Photos taken with a Sony Cyber Shot camera.
