Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.
Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Art Contest. I bring you a new work of art. I wanted to make a decorative pendant inspired by an element from the card, Shieldbearer, using the quilling technique. I was very struck by the star-shaped element on the character's shield, so I decided to bring it to life for all of you.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱
Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.
Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Art Contest les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, quise realizar un Colgante decorativo inspirado en un elemento de la carta, Shieldbearer en la técnica de quilling, me llamo mucho la atención el elemento que posee el personaje en el escudo enforma de estrella, y por eso decidí materializarlo para todos ustedes.

Esperando les guste mi trabajo, sin más preámbulos, les dejo mi proceso creativo.

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Cartulinas.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Argolla de bisutería.
• Perlas de bisutería.
• Pintura color perlada.
• Pintura metalizada color oro.
• Pintura metalizada color bronce.
• Pintura metalizada color cobre.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
• Colgante de tu preferencia.
• Quilling strips.
• Quilling needle.
• Cardboard.
• Paper cutter.
• Jewelry ring.
• Jewelry beads.
• Pearl-colored paint.
• Gold metallic paint.
• Bronze metallic paint.
• Copper metallic paint.
• Extra-strong white glue (carpentry glue).
• Paintbrush.
• Scissors.
• Pendant of your choice.
• To do this, I started by cutting white strips of cardboard to the measurements I needed.
• I started by taking a strip and using a needle to roll it up until I had used all the tape. I removed it from the needle, loosened it a little, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue to make an open circle. We will need four of these.
• I shaped these four circles into diamonds.
• Using the same method as before, I took a slightly shorter piece of tape and made four open circles that were smaller than the previous ones. I shaped them as you can see in the picture, into slightly elongated diamonds.
• Para realizar este trabajo inicié cortando tiras de color blanco de una cartulina, según las medidas que necesitaba.
• Inicié tomando una tira y con ma aguja procedí a enrollar hasta terminar con toda la cinta, saque de la aguja solté un poco y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, para conseguir un círculo abierto. Vamos a necesitar 4 iguales.
• Estos 4 círculos los moldee en forma de rombos.
• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores tomé cinta un poco más corta, y realicé 4 círculos abiertos más pequeños que los anteriores, estos los moldee tan y como pueden ver en la imagen, con una forma de rombos un poco más alargada.

• Once I had all the pieces, I proceeded to join them together one by one in a harmonious way to form a star.
• I noticed that there was a small opening in the middle, so I made a small closed circle. Once it was ready, I applied glue to the center of the star and inserted the circle.
• Listas todas las piezas, procedí a unirlas una a una de manera armónica para formar una estrella.
• Note que quedó una pequeña abertura en el medio y por ello realicé un pequeño círculo cerrado, una vez listo apliqué pega en el centro de la estrella y metí el círculo.

• I took the star and began by applying a coat of gold metallic paint, covering it completely, and letting it dry thoroughly.
• Then I took bronze paint and applied it to some parts of the star.
• I continued with copper paint, also applying some details.
• To finish applying the paint, I took pearl color and added the final touches.
• I wanted to add some details to the star, so I placed some half-pearls in the center and on some of the points.
• To finish, I placed a jewelry ring on the top and attached a thin black snakeskin thread pendant. You can attach the pendant of your choice.
• And now we have finished this decorative pendant, inspired by the elements of the character from the card “Shieldbearer”.
• Tomé la estrella y comencé aplicando una capa de pintura metálica color oro y la cubro completamente, deje secar muy bien.
• Luego tomé pintura color bronce, aplique en algunas partes de la misma.
• Continúe con pintura color cobrizo, también apliqué algunos detalles.
• Para finalizar con la aplicación de pinturas tomé color perlado e hice los últimos toques.
• Quise colocar algunos detalles en la estrella, por lo que coloque en el centro y otras de sus puntas algunas medias perlas.
• Para finalizar coloque en la parte de arriba una argolla de bisutería, y enganche un colgante de hilo piel de serpiente fina de color negro. Puedes colocar el colgante de tu preferencia.
• De esta manera tenemos listo este colgante decorativo que elabore, inspirado en el elementos del personaje de la carta "Shieldbearer".

Qué hermoso diseño... Y el personaje de Splinterlands es impresionante el grado de detalles.
