Hello to all my Hive friends... 🐱

Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.

Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Art Contest., I bring you a new piece of art. Last week, I made a 3D necklace pendant inspired by the Silvershield Bard card using the quilling technique. This week, I wanted to complete a set of accessories by making a pair of dangling earrings inspired by the same card. Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.

Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Art Contest. les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, la semana pasada realicé un dije para collar en 3D inspirado en la carta, Silvershield Bard en la técnica de quilling, para esta semana quise completar un conjunto de accesorios realizando un par de zarcillos colgantes inspirados en la misma carta, por acá les dejo mi trabajo anterior para que lo puedan apreciar: https://peakd.com/hive-189504/@dayadam/silvershield-bard-pendant-for-necklace-7e03fb1b2fcae

• Aguja para quilling.
• Plantilla para moldear círculos.
• Cartulinas.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Pintura metalizada color oro.
• Bases para zarcillos colgantes (anzuelos).
• Cristales checos negros.
• Cristales de bisutería.
• Argolla de bisutería.
• Tijera.

• Quilling strips.
• Quilling needle.
• Circle template.
• Cardstock.
• Paper cutter.
• Extra-strong white glue (carpentry glue).
• Paintbrush.
• Gold metallic paint.
• Hooks for dangling earrings.
• Black Czech crystals.
• Jewelry crystals.
• Jewelry ring.

• I started by taking a piece of white cardstock, applying extra-strong white glue, and folding it to make a strong base. I made about four folds and let it dry thoroughly.

• Then I took gold metallic paint and applied several coats, letting each coat dry between applications.

• I had previously sketched the symbol that the character has on their chest on a white sheet of paper. I cut this out of the dry gold cardboard. We will need two identical pieces.

• On the same sketch, I drew the circle that the symbol has to guide me. Using 2mm wide black tape, I proceeded to make two closed circles.

• Comencé tomando un trozo de cartulina blanca, apliqué pega blanca extra fuerte y fui haciendo dobleces para hacer una base fuerte, realicé aproximadamente 4, deje secar muy bien.

• Luego tome pintura metalizada color oro, aplique varias capas dejando secar entre una capa y otra.

• En una hoja blanca con antelación, había realizado un boceto del símbolo que tiene el personaje en el pecho, este lo recorte en las cartulinas color oro ya secas, necesitaremos 2 iguales.

• En el mismo boceto dibuje el círculo que tiene el símbolo para guiarme, con cinta de color negra de 2mm de ancho procedí a realizar 2 círculos cerrados.

• Once the black circles were ready, I glued them to the center of the gold symbol.

• To decorate and add a touch of sparkle to the pieces, place a costume jewelry crystal in the center of each one.

• Using a needle, I carefully made a hole in the top of the symbol, taking care not to break the piece, and inserted a costume jewelry ring.

• To finish, attach the bases for the dangling earrings (hooks) to the pair of earrings you have made. I had previously attached two black Czech crystals to these to give the pair of earrings an elegant and eye-catching detail.

• And so we have finished this pair of earrings, inspired by the character from the card “Silvershield Bard”, to complete this set of accessories, earrings, and necklace charm.

• Listos los círculos negros, los pegué en el centro del símbolo dorado.

• Para decorar, y darle un toque de luz a las piezas, coloque en el centro de cada uno un cristal de bisutería.

• Con una aguja procedí a realizar un agujero en la parte de arriba del símbolo, esto con mucho cuidado de no romper la pieza, allí incorpore una argolla de bisutería.

• Para finalizar coloque al par de aretes que realice, sus bases para zarcillos colgantes (anzuelos), a los cuales les coloque previamente dos cristales checos de color negro, esto para darle un detalle de elegancia y vistosidad al par de zarcillos.

• De esta manera tenemos listo este par de zarcillos que elabore, inspirado en el personaje de la carta "Silvershield Bard", para completar este set de accesorios, zarcillos y dije para collar.
