Today I am with you again to show you my art, I love every week to go through this wonderful world of magic, color, and lots of Splinterlands characters to look for new elements or characters to build different crafts such as jewelry, accessories, 3D figures and other things that motivate me, inspire me and activate my creativity and thus be able to create for you.
Today I'm joining the Splinterlands Art Contest. I bring you a new work of art. I wanted to make a decorative 2D pendant inspired by the card, ***"Taye Loreswift" ***using the quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱
Hoy estoy con ustedes nuevamente para mostrarles mi arte, me encanta semana a semana pasar por ese maravilloso mundo de magia, color, y muchísimos personajes de Splinterlands para buscar nuevos elementos o personajes para construir diversas manualidades bien sean bisutería, accesorios, figuras en 3D entre otras cosas que me motiven, inspiren y activen mi creatividad y de esa manera poder crear para ustedes.
Para hoy me uno al Splinterlands Art Contest. les traigo un nuevo trabajo de arte, quise realizar un colgante decorativo en 2D inspirado en la carta, ***"Taye Loreswift" ***en la técnica de quilling.

Esperando les guste mi trabajo, sin más preámbulos, les dejo mi proceso creativo.

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Cartulinas.
• Guillotina de cortar papel.
• Argolla de bisutería.
• Cristales de bisutería.
• Pintura color perlada.
• Pintura color lila.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.
• Colgante de tu preferencia.
• Quilling strips.
• Quilling needle.
• Cardstock.
• Paper cutter.
• Jewelry ring.
• Jewelry crystals.
• Pearl-colored paint.
• Lilac paint.
• Extra-strong white glue (carpentry glue).
• Paintbrush.
• Scissors.
• Pendant of your choice.
To do this, first cut strips for quilling from white cardstock with scissors, according to the required length and width measurements.
• I started by taking a 3mm wide white ribbon and, using the needle, rolled it up until I had used all the ribbon. I removed it from the needle, loosened it a little, and sealed it with extra-strong white glue to make an open circle. We will need five identical circles, one for each petal of the flower.
• I proceeded to shape each petal into a drop shape and pinch the top, creating some irregular points. I began to glue them together harmoniously to form the flower.
• I took lilac paint and applied some details to certain parts of the flower, repeating the same process with pearl-colored paint.
Para realizar este trabajo previamente corte tiras para quilling de una cartulina blanca con una tijera, según las medidas de largo y ancho requeridas.
• Inicié tomando una cinta de color blanco de 3mm de ancho, con la aguja procedí a enrollar hasta finalizar con toda la cinta, saqué de la aguja, solté un poco y sellé con pega blanca extra fuerte, para conseguir un círculo abierto. Vamos a necesitar 5 circulos iguales, uno para cada pétalo de la flor.
• Procedi a moldear cada pétalo en forma de gota y pellizque la parte de arriba, realizando algunas puntas irregulares. Comencé a pegar en forma armónica hasta formar la flor.
• Tomé pintura de color lila y apliqué en algunos puntos de la flor algunos detalles, realicé el mismo procedimiento con pintura color perlada.

• To make the leaf, I took 3 mm wide green tape, made an open circle and shaped it as you can see in the picture, then stuck it to the bottom of the flower.
• To make the pistil of the flower, I took 4 mm wide orange quilling, made folds to make it thicker, cut the tip, and glued it to the center of the flower. I also applied a little pearl-colored paint to give it some shine.
• Para hacer la hoja, tomé cinta de color verde de 3 mm de ancho, realicé un círculo abierto y moldee tal y como pueden ver en la imagen, pegué en la parte de abajo de la flor.
• Para realizar el pistilo de la flor, tomé quilling de color naranja de 4mm de ancho, fui haciendo dobleces hasta hacerla más gruesa, recorte en la punta y pegué del centro de la flor, también apliqué un poco de pintura color perlada para darle un poco de brillo.

• I took a piece of light green cardstock, cut it out, and glued it to the bottom of the leaf, then added some details with pearl-colored paint to the leaf.
• I added some details with rhinestones to the petals and the leaf.
• To finish, I placed a jewelry ring at the top of the leaf and attached the pendant of my choice.
• And that's how we finished this decorative 2D pendant that I made, inspired by the character from the card “Taye Loreswift”.
• Tomé un trozo de cartulina verde claro, recorte y pegué en la parte de abajo de la hoja, luego apliqué algunos detalles con pintura color perlado en la hoja.
• Coloqué en los pétalos y en la hoja, algunos detalles con cristales de bisutería.
• Para finalizar coloque en la parte de arriba de la hija una argolla de bisutería, y enganche el colgante de mi preferencia
• De esta manera tenemos listo este colgante decorativo en 2D que elabore, inspirado en el personaje de la carta "Taye Loreswift".
