Me complace estar hoy nuevamente compartiendo con ustedes un nuevo proyecto de bisutería. En esta oportunidad les voy a enseñar a realizar un hermoso dije inspirado en el ojo de Horus empleando alambre de cobre y una linda cuenta azul.
Amigas les cuento que no sabia que este ojo de horus tenia tanto significado solo lo hice porque me gustaba la forma pero cuando lo termine de elaborarlo me dedique un rato a leer sobre el y miren lo que pude leer!, que este es un símbolo mágico que proporciona protección, salud y rejuvenecimiento, ademas a este amuleto los egipcios le atribuían propiedades mágicas sanadoras,que eran capaces de impedir el mal de ojo y de espantar a los enemigos, ademas se usaban para los vivos especialmente como protección contra enfermedades y para los muertos para evitar la desintegración del cuerpo embalsamado...
Este hermoso dije del ojo de horus es ideal para obsequiar a una amiga para su protección o a un familiar, ya que como tienen tantos poderes es ideal para nuestra protección, ademas es fácil, económico y sencillo de realizar, también lo puedes elaborar con alambre de bisutería y le puedes colocarle una cuenta del color que mas te guste o que te represente. Estoy casi segura que les encantara la idea. Bueno amigas entonces no te pierdas el paso a paso para hacer este hermoso Ojo de Horus ¡¡Empecemos pues!!

- 28 gauge copper wire

1: We start by taking a strip of approximately 12 centimeters of #20 copper wire and place it on top of the image and proceed to mold the lower part of the eye and with the round tip tweezers we help us to give the corresponding curves then we cut the excess wire, then we cut another strip of #20 copper wire of 10 centimeters and mold the upper part of the eye as you can see in the images.
1: Iniciamos tomando una tira de aproximadamente de 12 centímetros de alambre de cobre #20 y lo colocamos encima de la imagen y procedemos a moldear la porte inferior del ojo y con la pinza punta redonda nos ayudamos a darle las curvas correspondientes luego cortamos los excedentes de alambre, seguidamente volvemos a cortar otra tira de alambre de cobre #20 de 10 centímetros y moldeamos la parte superior del ojo como pueden observar en las imágenes.
2: Once we have the two pieces of the eye, we proceed to give an effect to the inside of the image with the round tip tweezers.
2: Una vez que tengamos las dos piezas del ojo, procedemos a darle un efecto a la parte de adentro de la imagen con la pinza punta redonda.
3: Now we take the #28 copper wire and proceed to twist each end into the shape of the eye of horus.
3: Ahora tomamos el alambre de cobre #28 y procedemos a entorchar cada extremo dándole la forma del ojo de horus.
4: Then we proceed to twist our bead in the center of the base of the eye, then we cut a piece of wire #20 and we make a small ring at the top and at the bottom of the wire we twist it twice and then we twist it to the eye of horus.
4: Continuación procedemos a entorchar nuestra cuente en el centro de la base del ojo, luego cortamos un trozo de alambre #20 y le realizamos una pequeña argolla en la parte superior y en la parte inferior del alambre de damos dos vueltas y después lo entorchamos al ojo de horus.
5: Next we cut 80 centimeters of Chinese thread, then we fold it in half and intertwine it to the ring of the pendant and close it with a slip knot.
5: Seguidamente cortamos 80 centímetros de hilo chino, luego lo doblemos a la mitad y lo entrelazamos a la argolla del dije y cerramos con un nudo corredizo.
