Trip to Italy - Part 1 - Modena

in Travel Photographylast month (edited)

Hi guys so staying here in Slovenia me and my friend decided to visit Italy as it is the nearest neighboring Country to Slovenia.

We thought long and hard, we wanted to go to Rome but it was so far away and getting there would be quite a long journey. So we ended up deciding to go to Modena. The city where Enzo Ferrari, yes the Father of Ferrari was born.

As Car enthusiasts and as Engineers ourselves we could not miss the city where the Iconic Stable Horse Company Dream was born.

We started off from Slovenia at night at around 11pm. The Bus connects to Bologna where we need to change to another connecting bus that finally takes us to Modena.

Modena is rich in history and architecture. I will share here some of the pictures that I captured.

The streets of Italy are so beautiful and so clean. We literally fetlt like we are in the 18th Century, so classy.

Also spotted these exotic cars along the way as we roamed the city towards the Enzo Ferrari Modena Museum. Italians have a good taste in cars as we see. This is a Porsche 911

Just before heading into the Museum we had a nice coffee and momos from a nice Chinese restaurant.

Historical as well as modern cars greeted us inside the Museum, it was truly candy for the eyes.

And I also felt that Italians are much more warm and friendly. And they were super happy to help us during our time in Modena. Thank you Italy for welcoming us.

Fun Fact:
Enzo Ferrari's family carpentry business failed and this was the reason Enzo Ferrari took up jobs as a mechanic in Fiat and Alfa Romeo and eventually getting his interests into automotive racing and starting up Ferrari as a Racing company and the inevitable Exotic Cars.
