While wandering from street to street, we unexpectedly came to a halt before a strange red-brick building. As we approached, we realized it was Sainte-Odile Church, located at 2 Avenue Stéphane Mallarmé.
We hadn't expected to see a church with such a towering bell tower, rising to 72 meters. Intrigued, we stepped inside to explore this edifice, built between 1935 and 1946 under the initiative of Mgr Edmond Loutil.
En passant de rue en rue, c'est par le plus grand des hasards que nous sommes tombés en arrêt devant une construction étrange en briques rouges. Après nous être rapprochés, nous avons constaté que cela correspondait à l'église Sainte-Odile au 2, avenue Stéphane Mallarmé.
Nous ne nous attendions pas à voir une église possédant un clocher aussi haut culminant à 72 m.
Intrigués, nous sommes entrés pour visiter cet édifice construit entre 1935 et 1946, sous l’impulsion de Mgr Edmond Loutil.
