What a contrast to the hustle and bustle of Japan’s major cities! Here, time seems to stand still, inviting contemplation and serenity. One savors the moment before beginning the descent, ready to explore up close this village frozen in another era.
Gravir le sentier menant à la plateforme d'observation du château d’Ogimachi est un agréable exercice, parfait pour faire travailler le cardio. Mais l’effort en vaut la peine, car au sommet, une récompense grandiose nous attend : une vue panoramique à couper le souffle sur le village de Shirakawa-gō, avec ses toits de chaume emblématiques entourés de montagnes.
