We end our tour of the château’s interior with two emblematic rooms: the dining room, with its refined décor, and the company drawing room, also known as the Grand Salon, where the elegance of the furniture contrasts with the simplicity of the wood paneling and terracotta floor.
Stepping outside, we come upon the charming courtyard well, made famous for having inspired one of Pierre de Ronsard’s most beautiful poems.
Nous terminons la découverte de l’intérieur du château par deux pièces emblématiques : la salle à manger, avec son décor raffiné, et le salon de compagnie, également appelé Grand Salon, où l’élégance du mobilier contraste avec la sobriété des boiseries et du sol en terre cuite.
En sortant, nous retrouvons le charmant puits de la cour, rendu célèbre pour avoir inspiré à Pierre de Ronsard l’un de ses plus beaux poèmes.
Château de Talcy – The dining room has been decorated since the 18th century with wainscoting up to dado height and painted canvas featuring an indienne pattern.
Isabelle Salviati’s monogram appears above the doors.
The laid table suggests the presence of a few illustrious guests of the Stapfer family.

Château de Talcy – The company drawing room, or “Grand Salon.” The understated décor introduced by Jérémie Burgeat in the 18th century—wood paneling and a terracotta floor—is offset by refined furniture, such as this chest of drawers made of panels covered with varnish imitating Japanese lacquer, attributed to the Parisian cabinetmaker Jean Dumoulin.

Le décor sobre mis en place par Jérémie Burgeat au XVIIIème siècle -boiseries et sol en terre cuite- est démenti par un mobilier raffiné, comme cette commode constituée de panneaux couverts d'un vernis imitant les laques du Japon, attribuée à l'ébéniste parisien Jean Dumoulin.
