After exploring Port-Mahon, the historic capital of Minorca, we realize that we would need much more time to uncover all its treasures. This port city is brimming with wonders, from streets steeped in history to breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Every corner seems to whisper tales from the past, recalling the British presence in the 18th century, pirate incursions, and the Spanish influence that has shaped its architecture and culture.
Unfortunately, time is not on our side. Although the city deserves to be enjoyed at a slower pace, our busy schedule pushes us to move on. An extra day would have been ideal to stroll along the quays, visit more of its monuments, and fully absorb the unique atmosphere of this maritime city.
Our next stop takes us to a place we've heard is equally captivating: the white village of Binibeca.

Après avoir exploré Port-Mahon, capitale historique de Minorque, nous réalisons qu'il nous faudrait bien plus de temps pour en découvrir toutes les richesses. Cette ville portuaire regorge de trésors, des ruelles empreintes d’histoire aux panoramas spectaculaires sur la Méditerranée. Chaque coin de rue semble murmurer des récits d’antan, rappelant la présence britannique au XVIIIème siècle, les incursions des pirates, ou encore l’influence espagnole qui a façonné son architecture et sa culture.
Malheureusement, le temps nous presse. Bien que la ville mérite d’être savourée avec plus de lenteur, notre emploi du temps chargé nous pousse à reprendre la route. Une journée supplémentaire aurait été idéale pour flâner le long des quais, visiter davantage de ses monuments et nous imprégner pleinement de l’atmosphère unique de cette cité maritime.
Notre prochaine étape nous conduit vers un lieu que l'on nous promet fascinant : le village blanc de Binibeca.
