Hello, fellow hivers out there! How are you? I hope you had a very merry Christmas and a heart filled with love and joy.

For today's blog am gonna share with you how to design a candle to be more attractive to look at.

In my previous blog, I shared with you that my daughter's baptism was fast approaching. Now as a second-time momma, I wanted to make it even more memorable compared to before because it was COVID time when my eldest was baptized.

So, here are the things needed for this craft.

Of course, first on the list is a candle followed by ribbons (it depends on what color you like), double-sided tape, and lastly a pair of scissors.

But before we had all these things we went first to one of the shopping centers in our place.

When we were there, we proceeded immediately to the area where the candles were being arranged. At first, we were confused as to what size we would choose. In the end, we chose the not-so-big and not-so-small candles then.

Next, we went to the place where the ribbons were displayed. This time I had no doubts as to what colours I would choose. I chose pink and yellow.

After buying the necessary things that are needed. My son asked me to take a photo of him with the Santa Claus.

He then requested to go upstairs for he would choose a toy for me to buy. Well, I can't say NO this time. It's just one toy since it was our agreement way back then that he could choose only one toy every time we went shopping.

Tsadaann! This was the toy that he wanted the most, a train with blocks containing letters, numbers, and pictures for a toddler to have fun playing with it then. His priceless smile melts my heart then.

After which we went back home to start doing it right away!

The first thing to do is to wrap the candle with the choice of color you have up to mid-level.

So this is what it looks like after wrapping it.

Since Kate has 12 godfathers and godmothers then that's the number of candles we prepared.

Next, wrap the candle to the next color of the ribbon you have at the mid-level and the bottom of it. Do it repeatedly to the rest of the candles until it's done.

Yay! It's almost done! Such a nice combination of colours then. It offers a life-giving warmth to those who will look at it.

Lastly, put a cute ribbon on it. Well, it's your own choice whether you prefer doing it or you will do it the other way around. And that's how it ends my DIY thing, designing the candle on my way.

Therefore, when we do something out of love the result is simply amazing! Well, I may not be the ideal momma in the whole world but I will do everything just to give the kind of life that my kids deserve.

That's all for today's blog dear hiveians! Thank you so much for your time taking to read this. I appreciate it a lot. Until next time, see you around. Stay safe and God bless everyone!

That smile of your son that melts your heart mam @amoreyl is the smile that my eldest boy of that age shown to me that pierced my heart because he chose to buy a battery-operated truck that worths more than a thousand, yet, my budget was very limited then.

But, the joy that he showed to me and his mother, persuaded us to buy the toy and so we made a little adjustments to other items. Then, our boy jumped and shouted with joy when we said yes to him.

Sir if talking to our kiddos no matter how much it costs as long as seeing them very happy makes us the happiest too. But we will do it in moderation lang kay ma spoiled sus laki raba. Hehehe. Thanks for stopping by. God bless.

Super happy ang mga kids, kakatuwa naman uwu. And the candle design look pretty ha.
