My sister is a lover of hair ornaments and I wanted to make her this detail to give her as a gift. Here I show you how to make it.

Hola mis queridos amigos amantes de las manualidades y el arte, espero que estén pasando un excelente fin de semana. En el día de hoy les quiero mostrar como realizar una hebilla para el cabello de una manera muy sencilla y práctica de hacer. Mi hermana es fiel amante de los adornos para el cabello y quise hacerle este detalle par regalarle. A continuación les muestro como hacerla.

Materials//Materiales

40 cm long ribbon// Cinta de 40 cm de largo
Decorative flower// Flor decorativa
Scissors// Tijeras
Needle and thread// Aguja e hilo
Glue// Pegamento
Hair clip// Pinza de pelo
Measuring tape// Cinta para medir
Pencil// Lápiz
Lighter// Mechero

Step by step// Paso a paso

Step 1
First, the ribbon is measured by marking 8 cm long sections and carefully cut with scissors to obtain a total of 5 parts.

Paso 1
Primeramente, se mide la cinta marcando secciones de 8 cm de largo y se cortan cuidadosamente con las tijeras obteniendo un total de 5 partes.

Step 2
Then take each of the parts, fold it by one of the corners as I show you and glue it with the lighter making pressure so that it sticks, then do the same with the other end.

Paso 2
Después se coge cada una de las partes, se dobla por una de las esquinas como les muestro y se pega con el mechero haciendo presión para que pegue, luego hacer lo mismo con el otro extremo.

Step 3
Once the 5 parts are glued as I said before, turn them over one by one and fold the two ends in half and then insert the needle through the bottom part, doing the same with the 5 petals. Once they are all inside the needle and the thread is stretched to glue both ends, giving a stitch to seal it.

Paso 3
Una vez estén las 5 partes pegadas como les dije anteriormente se le da la vuelta una por una y se doblan los dos extremos hasta la mitad para luego introducir la aguja por la parte de abajo intercalando, se debe hacer lo mismo con los 5 pétalos. Una vez estén todos dentro de la aguja y el hilo se estira hasta pegar ambos extremos, dando una puntada para sellarlo.

Step 4
Now we put glue on the back of the decorative flower to stick it on top of our created flower.

Paso 4
Ahora se le pone pegamento en la parte de atrás de la flor decorativa para pegárselo encima de nuestra flor creada.

Step 5
Finally, put glue on the top of the hair clip and glue it to the back of the flower.

Paso 5
Por último se le pone pegamento en la parte de arriba de la pinza de pelo y se pega en la parte posterior de la flor.
