Hello creative friends and @diyhub community, it is a pleasure to greet you and hope you have an excellent weekend, we are already in the first half of August and I have been taking advantage of this month of my son's school holidays to advance in pending sewing projects, today I share with you the making of a bandana that combines the colors blue and white with a boat print, bandanas are very useful when putting on makeup or when we exercise, they help us hold our hair, this bandana is easy to make and in it we can use scraps of fabric with elongation that we have at home, rigid fabric can also be used but the measurement is increased, in this case I used two 50-centimeter strips, in micro peach fabric that has enough elongation, I invite you to join me in the elaboration process.
Hola amigos creativos y comunidad @diyhub, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un excelente fin de semana, ya estamos en la primera quincena del mes de agosto y he estado aprovechando este mes de vacaciones escolares de mi hijo para avanzar en los proyectos de costura pendiente, hoy les comparto la elaboración de una bandana que combina los colores azul y blanco con estampado de botes, las bandanas son muy útiles al momento de maquillarse o cuando realizamos ejercicio ella nos ayudan a sujetar el cabello, esta bandana es sencilla de hacer y en ella podemos usar los retazos de telas con elongación que tengamos en casa, la tela rígida también se puede usar pero se aumenta la medida, en este caso yo utilicé dos tiras de 50 centímetros, en tela micro durazno que tiene suficiente elongación, les invito me acompañen en el proceso de elaboración.

The first step to making the bandana was to cut two strips, 12 centimeters wide by 50 centimeters long.

Then, I faced them right sides together, pinned them, folded them in half, matching the ends, folded them vertically, and made a beveled cut at the ends.

The next step was to place both strips right sides together, sew them around the edges with a straight stitch, leaving one end open to turn the piece right side out.

Saludos @avdesing, los retazos de tela son útiles para elaborar varios proyectos, la diadema es ideal para sujetar el cabello, en la temprada de verano y zonas con climas tropicales, en mi país se usan también al momento de maquillarse y aplicar crema en el rostro.
Las telas licradas son las mejores para este tipo de proyecto, si no se dispone de ella, la tela rígida agregando elástico también funciona.
