Greetings creative community DIY center, I wish you are healthy and happy enjoying Christmas with family and friends, today I share with you a #tutorial to make a Christmas boot with fabric ideal for decorating and beautify the house this season, I made it with a piece of fabric left over from a previous project and thus take advantage of the resources we have at home and reduce costs. It can be sewn by machine or by hand, since it is easy to make.
Saludos comunidad creativa centro de bricolaje, deseo se encuentren sanos y felices disfrutando la Navidad en unión de familiares y amigos, hoy comparto con ustedes un #tutorial para elaborar una bota navideña con tela ideal para decorar y embellecer la casa en esta temporada, la realicé con un retazo de tela que quedó de un proyecto anterior y de esta forma aprovechar los recursos que tenemos en casa y reducir costos. Se puede coser a máquina o a mano; ya que es sencilla de elaborar.

PROCEDURE
To start I drew the pattern of the boot according to the desired size, since it will be used to decorate the entrance of the church, then I marked the mold on the fabric and cut it.
PROCEDIMIENTO
Para iniciar saqué el patrón de la bota de acuerdo al tamaño deseado; ya que será para decorar la entrada de la iglesia, luego marqué el molde en tela y corté.
On the top of the boot (white lining fabric) I sewed the monkey fabric, facing right to left, with this piece I will make the fold of the boot or sock.
En la parte de arriba de la bota (tela blanca de forro) cosí la tela de mono, enfrentando derecho con revés, con esta pieza se hará el doblez de la bota o calcetín.
To give more firmness to the boot, with the help of the iron I cut the lining, trimmed the excess, faced right to right the pieces of the lining and sewed with straight stitch, then zig zag along the contour, leaving without sewing the top part, I also made picks in the curved part, for a better finish.
Para dar más firmeza a la bota con ayuda de la plancha pequé pelón en el forro, recorté el sobrante, enfrenté derecho con derecho las piezas del foro y cosí con puntada recta, luego pasé zig zag por el contorno, dejando si coser la parte de arriba, además hice piquetes en la parte curva, para un mejor acabado.
I faced right sides together, pinning the main fabric (printed) and sewed with straight stitch and zig zag stitch on the edges to secure the seam and avoid fraying.
Enfrenté derecho con derecho, sujetando con alfileres la tela principal (estampada) y cosí con puntada recta y zig zag en los bordes para asegurar la costura y evitar que se deshilache.
I turned the boot right side out and carefully put in the lining, so that the seams are facing inwards.
Volteé la bota por el derecho y con mucho cuidado metí el forro, de tal forma que las costuras queden hacía adentro.
I folded the top from the inside out and now the boot is ready, the only thing left to do is to decorate it as we like.
Doblé la parte de arriba desde adentro hacía afuera y de esta forma ya la bota está lista, solo falta decorarla a nuestro gusto.
To decorate the boot I pinned the red ribbon and lace at the bottom of the fold, then sewed with decorative stitch, to make this seam easier I removed the box or tank from the machine; at the top of the sock, I pinned green ribbon, the hanging in the back and the boot is ready to beautify the spaces of the house at Christmas.
Para adornar la bota sujeté con alfileres la cinta roja y el encaje, en la parte inferior del doblez, luego cosí con puntada decorativa, para hacer esta costura más fácil retiré la caja o depósito de la máquina; en la parte de arriba del calcetín, pequé cinta verde, el colgadero en la parte de atrás y ya esta lista la bota para embellece los espacios de la casa en navidad.
