Hello everyone

Season greetings to you all on this beautiful day , i hope you are all doing great and having a nice time at your respective places, it's the time of the year when we all get busy with most of our sewing project and i will be sharing with you today the making of a white ball dress gown outfit for my little niece for Christmas, this is made from the same fabric after sewing a gown outfit for my sister.

Just this week, i started the making of Christmas outfit for my sister and her kids but at first, i made a long A-shape gown for my sister with a stylish neckline and ruffle sleeve, the outcome was so nice and beautiful.

After making that of my sister's, i proceeded to the making of her kids outfit from same fabric which i will be sharing the cutting and sewing process below
For this ball gown outfit, i cut out tge front upper bodice with the little girl's measurements as tge fabric was folded in two and i marked the necessary measurements on it and it was cut out.

The front upper bodice was placed on another folded fabric to cut out the back bodice with zipper allowance and a V-shape neckline at the back

I cut out same shape of lining for the front and back bodice to turn it inside out for neat finishing

The lining was used to turn the neckline and the dart were also sewn in on the dart leg for the front and back

The front and back were sewn together with the side seam allowance, now i have my upper bodice ready and set aside as i proceeded to the lower bodice

For the lower bodice, i measured and cut out the full length of the dress minus the half length with x 4 of the waist circumference measurement

It was gathered together with a long stiche

I measured and cut out satin of same measurements with the main fabric but with 3" shorter, it was gathered and sewn together as well

I proceeded to cut out a cone shape satin with the waist circumference measurements and a long hard net was pleated on it to give it fullness

All these were sewn to the waistline of the upper bodice and this is the outcome

For the sleeves, i cut out a basic sleeve and sew it to the armhole circumference with zipper sewn to the zipper allowance at the back

Finally, a white trimmings was sewn to the waistline to give it a beautiful outcome.

I hope you like the final and beautiful outcome of this dress i made for my little niece for Christmas
