How i made a simple love shape coin wallet with handle from fabric scraps

Hello everyone

A beautiful friday to you all on this beautiful day and i hope you are all doing great, we are moving towards the end of the week and i hope you have achieved one thing or the other during the week, it is my pleasure to share with you today one of my lovely creativity of a love shape coin wallet made for fabric scraps.

As you all know, i love to make use of my left over fabrics to make something nice as a gift or just as demanded, this as really help me alot to get rid of my fabric scraps through a positive means, i made this simple coin wallet with zipper and handle to hold and i hope you will like the beautiful outcome. This can also be used as a lip gloss pouch, earrings or any other thing you can think of.

Join me as i take you through the cutting and sewing process

First was to draw out a love or heart shape, then i cut out 2 pieces of 6 x 6" of fabric

One of the pieces was folded and cut into 2 at the center

I placed a zipper on it and it was sewn together on both sides after which i top stitched on the right side

I placed the love shape on the wrong side of the piece with the zipper and i traced out the love shape

I placed the piece with the love shape on the other piece and it was sewn together following the shape drawn on it with the zipper opened to the middle. For the handle, i cut out a piece measuring 2 x 8" which was folded, sewn together and placed at the side of the zipper before it was sewn round

I trimmed out all the excess and the zipper as well then i notched round it to make it look neat when turned inside out

Finally, it was turned inside out through the zipper opening and this is the final and beautiful outcome
